And what have we won recently? Nothing since the Club World Cup, and that was under Abramovich. Gyokores is turning 27, he's not been at the top very long and will want to win trophies. There is no chance he is taking a risk at this stage of his career. This will be his last chance to make a move to a club that can compete for the biggest trophies, he's not going to gamble it all on a project like ours.

Even if he rejects Arsenal, that still wouldn't put us in pole position. There will be plenty of top clubs that will want him.

Not convinced Gyokores will be the real deal at PL level, not at the price anyway. An outstanding season in the Championship, thriving in a questionable league. An old story.

Best striker I've seen in the league for the past two decades, only Falcao comes close.

Absolutely should do everything we can to sign him if possible.

Don’t ask me why but I have a bad feeling about Gyokores.

The red flag is surely that United, with his previous manager floundering and devoid of any decent options up front, aren't seemingly in for him ... so why is Amorim not all over this transfer ??
