The average age of our first team today is 23. It’s inevitable they will be inconsistent, win some, draw some and lose some. There is no substitute for experience. 

All things considered we’ve played decent, but we cant expect any short term success. No league or cup winning side in the history of the Pl, Serie A and La Liga has had a team this young. Winning teams usually have an average age of around 27, but of course our stat obsessed American owners know this. 

So frustrating that we’ve had a completely opposite second half.
