Wonder if he'll still be here next year. The system/style all seems a little off to Delap, albeit his minutes are light. He seems very flat footed to me, not adjusting/moving quick enough to receiving the ball.

I don't see how Mhueka or Guiu wouldn't contribute more given his minutes.

Delap is a lost cause, hopeless, a dead parrot. He never looks like he will affect the game in a positive way. It doesnt matter who the opposition are or the significance of the game his contribution is totally underwhelming.

The only positive is hes possibly better than Guiu.('s nan😂)

Due to a complete lack of interest we didn't want anywhere near £65-70m for Jackson in the end. Still no takers.

I’m sure there are plenty of offers to drive him up north!

Can't be a stupid coach decision as we have a generational manager at the helm. More likely poor in training or SD pushing him.

Marc Guiu should have been on loan this season - for his benefit. He would have a good season and maybe have come back sharper. At this point I cannot see Marc Guiu having a long-term future at the club tbh.

Delap hasn't been great. £30m. He has the rest of the season to show us something or move along.

Eeek. So, We are probably going to have him with us for some time. At least for another season, then a season on loan somewhere and then finally he takes a wage cut and joins a club abroad.

25/26 - stays with us as second choice

26/27 - stays with us as third choice

27/28 - stays with us, plays minimal minutes and goes on loan in January with us covering 70% of his salary

28/29 - Joins the bomb squad

29/30 - Gets a loan to Trabzonspor on September 2nd after spending all Summer trying to sell him

30/31 - with one year left on his deal we sell him to Strasbourg for £6M and record a book profit.
