January 25, 20251 yr 4 hours ago, PloKoon13 said: There is every indication that this will be a chaotic, ridiculous game between two defensively incontinent sides. I can't wait. Predictions: - Both teams to score at least twice; - Jackson redemption arc; - Me to spend most of the game tearing my hair out because we're not exploiting the fact that they have Nunes at right-back; - Maresca and Guardiola to spend the entire game looking miserable despite both sets of fans enjoying every minute; - Big Trev MOTM again; - Cucurella to be widely lauded despite spending most of the game getting in the way in possession; - @just to somehow come up with the best 'two bald men fighting over a comb' joke that has ever been made; - Me to be completely wrong as both teams bottle it and play out a timid 0-0 draw. I comb my hair with a flannel Ploks. Haven't owned a comb since 1994. And Jackson's redemption arc has had as much success as the Jim Davidson comeback tour. It's laughable that we have two nailed on Maresca starters that shouldn't be anywhere near our best XI, Sanchez and Jackson.
January 25, 20251 yr I just don't understand how the manager can watch us capitulate every game yet still line up the exact same players in the same formation with the same tactics. If i was a taxi driver and kept crashing my car every shift i'd be sacked. Blokes a cabbage.
January 25, 20251 yr And we're STILL faffing about at the back doing five yard sideways passes. f**k me

January 25, 20251 yr I'm not buying his excuses any longer of this being a young inexperienced team. He and they have had nearly 3/4 of a season to sort this sh*t out, no matter how old you are this team, based on their supposed talent, should be better than this. These aren't kids from the playground thrown into the EPL, some are full international players...so I'm not drinking his and the owners Kool Aid any longer. He is a poor manager, picks favourites, defends sh*te, useless at in game management.
January 25, 20251 yr Second half of last season I always felt we had it in us to come back at teams and score, and get something out of the game ... we seem to have lost that under Maresca.
January 25, 20251 yr Colwill is weak, slow and panics under the slightest pressure. We did ourselves over not shifting him to Liverpool when they came in for him.
January 25, 20251 yr 1 minute ago, Scott Harris said: I'm closer than ever to just mentally checking out at this point. The Garnacho signing would finish me off. This club under this ownership is not Chelsea. It’s the same script. Identical. Carbon copy. Why should I bother watching the rest of the match when I know the outcome? City played midweek with the exact same players and we’re the ones going through the motions with zero intensity. There’s several players, predominantly all the attackers, I’m questioning how embarrassed they actually are. Sancho just got pocketed by a centre mid playing RB.
January 25, 20251 yr I'd consider taking Fernandez (who had been anonymous) off but the only midfielder we have on the the bench is KDH...

January 25, 20251 yr We score and then just don’t bother after. We won’t finish in the top eight with this clown and goalkeeper and sh*tty striker in Jackson.
January 25, 20251 yr Kepa on loan. Petrovic on loan. Jorgensen on the bench. I don't care what bo**ocks Argo has to say, all three are better than Sanchez.

KDH would provide energy that we desperately need, similar to what Gallagher did last season. I would have started him alongside Caicedo
January 25, 20251 yr Author Keep believing guys, game is not over. We still have our midfield general Fernandez on!

Saying that, I can't believe we haven't exploited Nunes bring at right-back. Sancho has been invisible, maybe less so in the last ten minutes or so.
January 25, 20251 yr Playing with Sanchez in goal, is like having no one in goal. f**king sh*te player
January 25, 20251 yr We are performing exactly as expected for a mid-table team, no need to be upset or annoyed.
