Can't see how we sell Sterling, Chillwell and Nkunku. I expect to see all 3 loaned out.

Chilwell I could have seen dropping his wages and moving to West Ham to replace Cresswell, but not even a sniff about him anywhere.

I have no recollection of us signing a C. Wiley. Give him an additional initial and I would have believed he's an author who has written one successful novel and then mysteriously disappeared.

He has been posting on his Instagram that he has been working hard to prepare himself for the new season, but doesn't seem to want to drop his wages for it.

Why would he do that when he knows the club will just loan him out? Sterling & Chilwell hold the leverage. Not the club.

Just the way he was posting, like he was looking forward to the season and seemed ready to move on. I'm not having a go at him or anything, just seems a bit odd to put that out if he's not going to force a move.

Maybe he thought he'd be given a chance of getting back in the fold at Chelsea ?

Especially after seeing the U-turn on Trev ?

Maresca branded him indelibly as not fit for purpose. He's not what he was courtesy of injury but still a very handy, experienced back up. If costly.

I feel the club counted on these players desire to play football would force them to take a pay cut and switch clubs, but these present generation of footballers are different. It’s a World Cup year and potentially the last for Sterling and Chilwell but there is zero desire to go somewhere else for game time and force themselves into Tuchel’s thinking. I can see the trio of Sterling, Chilwell and Nkunku seeing out their contracts and walking for free.

Looks like the kits have gone through a bit of a redesign when it comes to the positioning of the CWC badge. They moved it up a bit, it looks a lot better now.

I feel sorry for the fans that already bought the kit, because they got that stupid looking version. They really need to start thinking of the fans more when it comes to things like this. The shirts already costs an absurd amount of money. With no front of shirt sponsor being announced and this new redesign, fans could find themselves feeling like they will need to triple dip. It's taking the piss a bit.

Definitely, it's bs like this is the reason I normally buy shirts in the 2nd month.

Considering it's their last chance to do so(WC participation), it's really stupid for all 3 to run their contracts down

I don't think any player would take a pay cut just because their club wants to get rid of them ?? . I'm sure the WC would be an attraction, but come on, it's impossible to see Raheem or sterling getting into the squad anyway ?

Can we just all accept and move on from the Sterling / chilwell contract stuff. They counted on them being good enough to never need to leave, but they f**ked up

Nkunku I think will happily leave for less money tbh. He will want to play. Everyone else in our squad isn't on a lot of money if they don't play

Don't tell me there's two of them !? 😭

Either that or a coyote

He went straight on loan to Watford. I would not waste time on him he will surely be sold on eventually.

Wouldn’t be too sure. He got back into the French side earlier last season, and I felt he would have pushed for an exit if he was serious. With the way PSG’s season played out, the rebirth of Dembele, and the emergence of Doue, I feel a pathway back into the French side has ended. Everything points to him being a backup to his suitors ideal target. That doesn’t sound like someone who is interested in taking a pay cut.

Are you suggesting Sterling also has two accounts😂

So that's why we are having so much difficulty moving his contract, he's being paid twice.

Just been watching some stuff around some of the kids and if he continues as he has started with and doesn't get injured I can see Jesse Derry moving up quite quickly. If George could go out on loan we could still have youngster cover in this area
