Signing Felix is kind of a microcosm of the idiocy of this group of decision makers. Desperate to sell Gallagher to get some money.. so spend a load of money in order to get Athletico to give us some money, on a player we don't want. What was the point? People keep going on about the money we're spending being over long periods and ammortisation and sh*t, who the f**k cares? We still spend the whole amount overall. If we buy a player we don't want for 50m but spread it out as 10m per year for 5 years, sure it can help with ffp, but we still spent 50m on someone we didn't need. Why?

What might be keeping Badiashile off any such list is him being a left-sided centre back who makes a just good enough back up (and on cheap wages) to Colwill

In a realistic ideal scenario I'd shift to a 4-3-3 and have chevalier(petrovic), James(gusto), araujo(Chalobah), colwill(medina), cucerella(ishe), caicedo(essugo), enzo(kdh), santos(lavia), estevao(Gittens/Neto), palmer(madueke), ekitike(delap).

All depends on players we can sell and loan out but that squad is tactically flexible and strong in every area. I’d maybe consider a better backup to Enzo than kdh but I didn’t want to be greedy

I said we need winger, st, and gk.

But what do we really need? Player who can move the needle. It can be any position. Having Reece James healthy for the whole season and firing will have more impact than neto, sancho, kdh, Felix, Tosin.

Before a ball was kicked Saturday night, you just knew the two weak links were Sanchez and Badiashille and boy, do those two make me nervy anytime they have the ball. Can't recall seeing a defender looking as uncomfortable on the ball as Badiashille. Even straight forward passes to his feet, he somehow manages to miss control.

We have a fairly decent looking squad but that will count for nothing if Sanchez and Badiashille continue to get playing time. Gaffs will cost us points and the team will lose any momentum and confidence. BOTH have to go.

Thanks! This is really underwhelming, the board has bought so many players and not much to convince me that we're challenging any time soon. So much mediocrity when we just needed to improve certain positions with proven quality. And, I don't see this lot selling many of those players to reduce the size of the team.

We’ve signed Delap who is a generational upgrade on the dross we had available at ST ✅

We’ve spent 55M on a LW who’s worse than what we currently have available ❌

We are looking to buy maybe a CB so it will change the squad a bit if that happens. And maybe Enzo likes the squad being around 25-27 players.

This is not an opinion on the squad. Just trying to see what it could look like. Anyway we will sell and loan out a ton of players. Hopefully being succesful on it. I am sure many of the outgoings will be around late in the window as we know it is a bit of a domino.

I’ve seen on social media this list of players with their “status”. Brutal the amount of players that have been accumulated in 3 years. Hopefully a few will still go.
