You felt the same way about Brighton’s manager first 2 games, or just now because it’s convenient?

I felt that our manager cannot take us to the title since the middle of last season. I am not saying Brighton's manager is a world beater or anything and I couldnt care less if it were Leeds or Sunderland who made this tactical adjustment and defeated City. I care about our manager not being EPL level and needing controversial calls against mid teams to not f**k up 2 consecutive games at home.

We’ve played poorly and still find ourselves 1st. Typically, when we play poorly we never got results. 🤷

Just need to ride this early season poor form wave, as literally every club and manager look off it.

Has been a great weekend for us (bar Delap's injury). Us getting some big help from VAR, Spurs losing and now City losing. Guess I want a bad tempered draw in the Dippers v Gooners game.

Bad result for Forest today - can see Nuno not being there when they next play.

Guardiola either needs a sabbatical or a new club to freshen himself up. Can't help but feel that his time at City looks closer to the end the more I see them play.

I think he's either bored or is experimenting. He used to always refresh his teams after a season, you can see his sides change even since the Barca days

When he first came to the PL, he was all about wingplays and wide spaces, then he changed to a versatile team scoring from everywhere, then through the middle when KdB can't run on the wings as much. He needs to figure out a new spine for his team

And what if it carries on majority of the season because this style of play and struggles aren’t new.

As long as we win the majority of our games I couldn't care less.

Just seen how a manager can influence a game and from a half where they couldnt string 2 passes together they went on an carved them open like a pumpkin for Halloween. 4 subs at once and City didnt know what hit them and were on the backfoot the whole of second half.

Sadly, I don't see our person at the wheel having the guts to make changes this radical when things are not going his way.

I feel the same way, he’s a £ land version of Pep. He’s been figured out already as shown by Palace and Fulham because he’s predictable we are predictable yet have some of the most unpredictable players.

Grinding out wins wasn’t new. Last season if we were sh*t, we were punished.

Currently our biggest issue is we don't build any play from the back, it's basically trying to bypass the midfield by 1 pass every time

Wirtz has more apology hands than successful passes

Love the way the media are making excuses for him. Unlike when caicedo and Enzo arrived ...every week they trotted out how much they cost blah blah blah, but Wirtz just needs to settle in

It's been a poor game so far overall but Madueke has looked Arsenal’s best player.

Madueke being Madueke overlooked at least one better postioned colleague who could have walked the ball into the goal, yet instead chose to shoot high over the bar.

Awful game, but Madueke is doing pretty well. Wirtz looking like Havertz when he joined us - totally off the pace.
