Spurs just need to beat Palace tomorrow and they pull away.

If Forest and West Ham put the runs together to survive I hink it is Leeds who drop down, rather than Spurs. Despite how awful Spurs have been, all those defeats, no win in 2026, just beat Palace and they are on their way to safety.

They are getting fearfully close to the relegation zone, Forest and West Ham are already fighting for their lives as are Leeds. What if they dont beat Palace? Then they have the Bin dippers? Nervous times 😂🤣😂

We can but hope Palace beat them.

Anyone catch what the Brighton manager said about arsenal after the game? He called out their dirty tactics and time wasting. Is great viewing.

Arsenal don't try to play football and make up their own rules, states Brighton boss:

Fabian Hurzeler: Brighton manager fumes at Mikel Arteta's...

Arsenal beat Brighton 1-0 to go seven points clear at top of Premier League but all the talk was about Mikel Artetas perceived time-wasting; Brighton boss Fabian Hurzeler said Arsenal were not trying

Too little too late now with the league done. Still entertaining.

At least more outlets are recognising that Arsenal are not only playing boring football but that they're also playing dirty football and relying on refs loose enforcement of blocks and holding in the penalty box.

Increasingly looking like we'll see some new rules drafted up quickly as the quality of football at the moment is plummeting due to the effectiveness of these tactics.

Meh. If, by sheer absolute fluke, an 8th-placed team makes it through, it becomes farcical. Sky have been pushing this option for a while in their own interests.

Probably to accommodate Spurs next season.....

Hmm ref watch on sky stated both Brighton and City should have had pens.

That's probably 2 more points for city and 2 less for Arsenal. What could and should have been then, but clear where the refs are favoring.

I have watched a lot of Man U games lately and I have to say that they are sh1t and very lucky. Carrick the new manager bounce? I am not seeing much quality in that team at all. But there they are 3rd in the league.

MORE. Capitalism always wants more and MORE play-offs. Quantity over quality. Maybe the play-offs could be a mini-tournament hosted in the US?

then Some all-Star games . . .Before the ESL season? European Soccer League.

It's a bit of a win win for both sides to be honest if you look at it financially.

Teams get more money from tickets sold as games mean more with that 8th spot up for grabs, right now towards end of season teams with no hope of a 6th spot see quite a lot of decrease in attendance.

It would be hilarious IF Spurs did get relegated, it really would. But I would miss the almost guaranteed 6 points each season and the joy of beating them and rubbing it in with Spurs supporters I know.

It depends how many of the extra games are played at Wembley. Teams earn less playing at Wembley.

I've seen a ton of clips online of Arsenal's antics. You can tell they are feeling the pressure, because all they are doing is throwing themselves to the ground. The refs in this sport are useless and just let them get away with it every time. Raya and Gabriel are throwing themselves to the floor every chance they get.

Arsenal fans won't care because all people are going to remember is that they won the title, but when people say they will be the worst winners ever, they're right.

On Arsenal, I am seeing some of their lot playing down there chances of winning the quad. Why? They worried winning just the league and league cup could be seen as disappointing since they have been top on day 1 and have had everything go their way?

League Cup? Bye until the semi final when they faced us when we were a mess right after Maresca left.

FA cup? Byes until at least the quarter final and who knows maybe their quarter final is at home to a none Premier League side.

CL? League phase fixtures pretty tame, bar Bayern who, to their credit, they dealt with brilliantly.

Now though they have a bye until at least the semi finals.

And the league? Lots of help from the refs, and that is done.
