We've been the better side, but I don't think either side look good. It's not been a game full of quality apart from Caicedo's goal. Both teams are giving it away a lot.

Love to have been completely wrong on this one—was very much a non-believer in my previous life thinking he was purely a ball-winning dm.

He turned out to be far more rounded and a machine too!

Being right about an opinion vs getting a WC player for a decade… hmm let me think about that for a moment. 😅

Ouch that was close

Our d has mistakes in them — hope we can keep them far away from it in the second too.

I hope it is whatever knock he’s been carrying—Jp has been slow and poor indeed.

We are a Caicedo rocket from being level.

Again our attack has failed us. What have they done, without Palmers help, since the international break?

Brentford? PALMER and a caicedo special.

Bayern? Palmer again.

Lincoln? George and Bounanotte

United? Chalobah corner.

Brighton? Enzo

Benfica? own Goal.

Today so far? Caicedo rocket again.

So 3 goals (Enzo included) and an assit for trevs corner from 6 and a half games, and 2 of those goals were vs a league one side. Attack has been awful.

Ain't no way we can keep a

I was just going to say the same thing - wtf has he done ?

It's better they occupy that space with a bit more height..

He's half fit to be fair to him, under normal circumstances he probably wouldn't be playing but with no Delap we have no real choice.

Doesn’t salah look a bit heavy? Not taking anything away from Cucus D performance, he looks a bit heavy to my eyes.

Put in a shift last season to get his new massive contact. Taking it easy from now on.

That half is about the best we can actually play. It was possibly one of Liverpool's worst halves but can't really tell, I never watch them.

They've been like this all season. They get a goal out of nothing which saves them.

Haven't had a beer all first half.

I'm going to have a beer now , hoping it doesn't put the mockers on our 2nd half . Apologies in advance everyone.

I'm sticking with the Tamnavulin based on the logic that it's good luck.

Nice of Liverpool to rest Ekitiké and Wirtz but stick with the change of shape which has caused them so many problems. I'm sure they're embarrassed that they're getting outplayed by a midfield with Malo Gusto in it.

I hope this is part two of a new trend of us being a jinx for Liverpool. It would be an amusing feature of what is sure to be a disappointing ten years.

Having a coach that can't design a proper attack is a huge issue. It's either hoping for a Palmer special or give ball out wide hoping for a low cross for a tap-in

Well that’s exactly what I think about the roster. Palmer is the creative force and evidently the key player.

I like Neto a lot, but he’s that hard working support player winning teams need—he’s not going to produce goals and chances consistently enough.

The others are too young and inexperienced to deliver consistently. JP and Delap when fit, depend on volume of play to make things happen. So, w/o Palmer I just don’t see how we can play the way people want us to play, regardless of manager, sorry.

Liverpool are gonna be a different prospect second half. Slot will be giving them such a bollocking and Maresca will be telling our lot to not go over the half way line. Anyhoo cmon Chelsea

Liverpool have been distinctly average the whole season. A second goal wins this I reckon.

They have multiple wins this season from losing positions. It's those jammy league winner goals
