I know what you mean, he couldn't do much about any of the goals and made some good saves.

Good at coming for crosses as well.

The defence will get better I feel, new system, some new players and the midfield protection will get better.

He is an upgrade on Sanchez and at £7.5m it's a no brainer.

Can't really blame him for the first two goals. He probably hasn't trained with the team yet and has hardly trained since the world cup.

He'll get up to speed.

He didn’t sh*t his pants every time there was a back pass .. was decisive too..

The first 2 goals are not his fault, in fact he made a save for the first one. The last goal could maybe have been saved but not certain. It came at the very last seconds in the game in his debut so no need to be too critical.

Was impressed with him personally, deffo has a presence about him and constantly talking and organising during set pieces despite only having been here for 5 minutes.

Can't recall what the score was at the time but important save low just inside the post.

He couldn’t have save any of the goals. The last one Roger’s literally watched Gross walk onto the ball and head it home that was a defensive failure

It all happened so quickly - signing for Chelsea and straight into the team with virtually no training or acclimation at all. Beyond that, stepping into a heavily criticized position at the club, surrounding by drama.

Great debut. The team defending and lack of concentration was woeful at times. His character showed very quickly, and in a matter of weeks, if not days, I think he'll be yelling at the defenders ahead of him to do their jobs!
