Looks like it's done. In the bits I've seen he looks a really good prospect, can play LB and CB. I'd personally rather keep him in the squad than loan him out but sounds like we want to loan him to a prem team for the season.

£40m is a steep price for any player for Strasbourg though. Surely this is one for us, or we will sell for £60m in 2 years to a Prem team.

Either way the constant transfers are annoying. They will need to install revolving doors in the Managers office next.

Josh is 20. Levi is 23. Lacroix is the grand old age of 26, Wesley Fofana is a moron but also 25.

If there is a ‘succession’ plan in place then it’s for 10 years time 😂

This is another Jamie Gittens esque signing, criminally overpaying for an unproven youngster from a weaker league for a position we aren’t desperate in.

It’s just a step back by the SD’s again ‘cos they can’t help themselves. We have a real real chance this season and sh*te like this doesn’t help us now.

I think the signing you compare it to is Hato.

We will probably need another centre back next season. Think it's a good signing.

I don’t know much about him - will have to look into it. For CBs, always look at height and a little concerned he’s reported as 6’0”. But will see what else there is to his game - Silva made that height work! Expensive signing.

I have never had a problem with them buying future talent as long as they address 1st team issues as well which they are doing finally this summer.

£40m seems steep though.
