I'm afraid the Barcalona style of football is just not for us. Right now we are taking 5-6 side way passes to go 10 yards forward, everytime we have a counter attack chance, we deliberately hold the ball up to allow the opposition get back into position. I can't see us transit into a mini (or full size) Barcalona with the players we have.

For someone who's brief was to make us play more attacking football, you have quite cleary failed. You have also made the team who finished 2nd last season worse, despite the addition of Mata and Sturridge, no one seems to have a clue what they should be doing half the time. For the first time since starting supporting Chelsea, i actually can't be bothered to watch your sh*t excuse for football anymore and your incoherent nonsensical ramblings after a game make me wonder what the players must think of your teamtalks, no wonder half of them can't be bothered to break in to a sweat for you! To cap it all off you treat one of our greatest ever players like a skivvy and would rather play a Liverpool reject.
Wake me up when we have a proper manager.
P.S Taken me this many years to make a post, it must be serious!

May be the word "bored" was applied in wrong context. The slow passing game is a worrying sight but that is not going to stop me from watching every minute of a chelsea match.
I drove my car like an idiot to catch this game live. I already scheduled my set top box to record it . But nothing is as exciting as a live game. I made sure the score doesn't reach me by any means and started watching the match after 4 hours .
It was hard to see us struggle though I knew every bit of what happened in the chelsea match this weekend . It was sad to see us take just 1 point but the feeling would have been cruel had I missed the match.
Come on , do not get bored !!! Show your frustration here , forget it , and get ready for the match next weekend !

Truth be told we're one very boring team to watch. All backwards and sideways, one-paced, very little flair or imagination, Cech hoofing it long every 2-3 minutes.
We struggle to make clear cut chances against some of the worst teams in the league.
Some of the players just make you feel depressed watching them play. Watching a 50m player struggle to control the footbal is enough to make you hate the game.
We are just as bad as we were last season. Nothing has changed. The manager talks a lot and seems to have the right ideas but has implemented nothing. I've just read that he was pleased with the performance at Norwich and felt we just lacked a little luck. You couldn't make it up really.
Bloody football eh?

I get a headache. Nervous tension. Every game is close, always down to the last minute. I'm not confident in the defense and the goals aren't coming easily. Call me what you want, but for me the battle is for 3rd place. In that light, Saturday was a decent day, one point gained on Spurs.

*YAWN* Cor blimey, some of you people spend far too much time on internet message boards and have far too much aggression running through your veins. I just stated a personal opinion that i was bored of our style of play and that i am not the biggest fan of AVB, when considering the financial outlay on both the team and the manger seems fair! I didn't once say i was going to stop supporting the team but thanks for all the abuse, i will just climb back under my rock and leave you too argue amongst yourselves like usual. Great to see a supporters message board where you get pelters for airing an opinion that the majority of supporters agree with.
And far from being a new fan, i would wager i have been supporting Chelsea alot longer than the majority of you muppets giving it large over a internet forum and i live ALOT closer to the Bridge than any of you EVER have. So go DO one...

This isn't a moan, more a constructive criticism.
It's interesting to note that we have a really low level of completed passes in the final third, in comparison to the other big teams. Our percentage of completed passes in the final third is also relatively poor, which also shows just how little ambition we have with the ball. So for all the talk of more possession we seem to be having less quality ball in the final third. A key indicator of our decline I'd suggest.

Explain how a poor completion percentage in the last third equates to a lack of ambition? If anything it indicates too much ambition. Trying to force passes that aren't really on rather than being patient.

Yeah, I don't think the word "ambition" was the correct choice. Substiute that for accuracy or ability (to make that killer pass) and then you have it.

Spiller is from Australia's capital, hence he doesn't really speak English. You'll have to forgive him for that.
So I find it funny that 6 months later there are Chelsea fans having a good bitch and moan because AVB succumbed to their pleas. AVB came in with a mandate to evolve and change the team, to bring in a new style and philosophy. He tried to do that with mixed results and under the pressure of Chelsea fans (and to a lesser extent, the media) who demanded instant success, he had to resort to pragmatism. Essentially, he traded short-term issues with our defensive set-up (mostly form, some tactical) for our long-term issues with squad balance and creativity. The end result is a team in a no-man's-land between the two.
In spite of this-in fact, precisely because of this- I think AVB is a fantastic manager. Carlo was wrongly and undeservedly sacked in my opinion, but that means nothing when making my judgement on Villas-Boas. However his downfall, much like Scolari, was that he didn't know when to resort to pragmatism, instead blindly sticking with the same system and allowing short-term and long-term issues to surface. AVB, on the other hand, knew when to pull the plug and demonstrated it with that small run in November which may have just saved our season. It's a small difference, but to me that's a sign of a manager who is capable of changing things, given the time.

By ambition i guess i meant happy to make plenty of passes outside the danger area but limited in our final third plays. Id like a count of how many times we've just thrown it wide to Bosingwa who hits in one of his terrible crosses for no result.
Forget William we should have paid Shakthar for Srna that boy can cross.
Also SC you be quiet, we might not speak English good, but Canberra's girls team could beat SydneyFC right now. ;-)

Yeah, okay, not a great season by recent standards; but c'mon, we've all seen it a whole lot worse and we're still here. It'll be a cold day in hell before I'd give up my season ticket, next year will be cracking.

BTW. A winger with real pace would fix most of the current problems in one swoop.
