You really should mate.

I convinced myself it was going to be rubbish so avoided it at all costs. Think the last two films I saw with that Mellissa McCarthy put me off (The Heat & Tammy) but it was actually enjoyable and funny.

I didn't like Miranda in it though, can't take to her at all.

I thought this was great as well! Stathem was absolutely amazing in it, I never thought he had him in it, his speeches about what he'd done had me in stitches every time & the helicopter scene near the end he's brilliant hahaha! I agree I can't take to Miranda either!

Anyone seen the new Mad Max? Saw it the other night, still undecided on whether I liked it massively or not. Don't think it was as good as the original, classic right there.

I actually thought it was better but saying that I'm a Tom Hardy fanboy of the highest order, the guy is just amazing in every role I've seen him play.

Watched True Story last night.

Thought it was really good, Hill and Franco gave really strong performances IMO.

I know it got panned by the critics but I enjoyed it regardless.

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban- one of my favourite Potter films.

 

Directed with visual flair and aplomb by Alfonso Cuaron (Children of Men, Gravity) . A darker and more interesting film than the all-too-loyal-to-the-source-material two previous efforts by Chris Columbus.

Last night we watched 'It's complicated' again, not a demanding film, but worth a watch with some fun moments and poignancy in parts.

Never seen it before, the days before Downey Jr. played himself in all his films.

Good viewing, learned a bit along the way too.

Really took me by surprise, Paul Rudd impresses, it ties in with the Marvel Universe really well and the fight scenes are brilliant.

Watched Taken 3 again the other night, solid action thriller better than the 2nd but both don't come close to the first.

Inglorious bar stewards, not as good as I'd hoped!

Maybe due to the large amount of subtitles, I don't like reading a film.

Wish I Was Here

 

Zach Braff  stars, writes and directs his follow-up to Garden State, about Aidan (Braff), a struggling actor who re-evaluates his life and those important to him when his father becomes terminally ill.

Some great performances from the kid actors, but there is nothing to get excited about here, the film is mildly amusing in places and ends exactly how you'd expect it to.
