Been a few days peeps so latest update according to my sources is that Dembele and Kounde essentially wrapped up. No rush they will happen, paperwork takes time blah blah blah.

In the meantime CFC focused on Jesus and De Ligt these are our main targets according to one of my main trusted sources. As it stands £40m~ish would be enough for Jesus, City know that 1 year left means they can't ask for too much despite valuing him highly.

Regarding De Ligt it's slightly more complicated, according to various reports Tuchel is a big fan and Todd wants to make a big statement in backing him. Where it gets complicated De Ligt has release clause valued in the €100m(s) estimated between €120-150m.

Juve want him to sign a new deal as his current one doesn't have too many years left. He is willing to sign a new deal if his release clause is lowered significantly, rumoured he would prefer it to be around €70-80m.

Expect CFC to potentially bid for both and hope to acquire De Ligt way below release clause, currently I'm unsure of his asking price but if I was to take a guess I would say Juve won't be enticed into talks for anything below €65-70m and that's just to get them to even consider selling most likely we're looking at €80m with add ons potentially rising even higher.

Not Sterling eh?

De ligt can happen  if he refuses a new deal and we pay through the nose, likely 85mill in pounds.

Various reports are saying Tuchel is interested and likes his profile, but at the moment it looks like we will focus on Jesus. I would guess because Jesus has more suitors, Arsenal are serious and have tabled a bid supposedly, but below asking price. Anceolotti likes him and Madrid will monitor the situation and even Spurs and Conte are watching.

Whereas Sterling has admirers too, but no one has officially bid for him as far as I know. Could be that we try wrapping up Jesus as a replacement for Lukaku, Dembele joins for free and then if we lose another 1 or 2 of our forwards we then go in for Sterling later on in the window mate.

I prefer Fofana, i think he's a very good player, also he's french so he can communicate better with Mendy, Silva, Koundé and the likes.

and i really like Koulibaly. I would love to see a Silva Koulibaly partnership.

All really good players mate, let's see what happens. Napoli owner can be quite difficult to negotiate with even with a year left on Kouilbaly he may be deemed to expensive. Various reports have listed him available on the cheap though but these are yet to he confirmed by proper sources as far as I know.

Fofana too expensive atm I think mate, reported £80m price tag, Leicester don't want to sell and I believe he recently signed a new contract so they have all the power.

Dembele, Jesus, Kounde and De Ligt would be great signings if we could pull these deals off. I guess we’d have to sell Ziyech and/or Werner to accommodate them. That still would leave a decision to be made about Lukaku and whether we’d need to sign an out and out goalscorer. We were linked to Nkunku but that seems to have gone cold. And a midfielder too now that Tchouameni seems to be going to Madrid.

Hmm apparently both Sterlings and Gabriel Jesus agents have been encouraging us to go for their clients and also apparently both have told City the players want to leave for new challanges and regular play time so is a case of sell now or they go for free.

We would not lack for Pace if they and Dembele join.

I would imagine that would lead to the sale of two from Broja, Pulisic, Ziyech and/or Werner and obviously Lukaku.

Be something like:

Sterling/CHO-----Mount/Havertz-----Dembele/?

Gabriel/?

Question marks filled by whichever 2 are not sold.

Why are City offering us players all of a sudden?  Okay Im gonna put my tinfoil hat on for a minute.  Well firstly we have a new owner who's willing to splash the cash, an unknown threat, and the only team apart from Liverpool who can really challenge City if we have a great transfer window.  Now how do you make sure the progress we make in the window is decent rather than amazing?  Sell us a couple of decent but not amazing players.

Maybe there are a few incredible young talents that City are eyeing up for the future and we are sniffing around them this window, dump some of their rejects on us on the cheap so it looks like we've been savvy in the window by buying premier league proven players.  Then within the next few seasons Nkunku and Rafael Leão are smashing it up for them, and we're still blaming the system as to why Jesus has only scored 11 goals.

On a more serious note we have a squad full of good players we need to find that talismanic player, a Hazard, a Drogba who's going to drive this team to a title.  Jesus and Sterling aren't that guy.

Dumfries being linked??? he has an insane engine, he can keep running for 120 minutes, he's like alonso but he can run

very good backup for reecey

#Chelsea 'tempt' Kalidou Koulibaly and have offered him a deal close to €10M per season. Napoli value the defender at €40M.

I really hope we can get him. He will fit right in, he knows Mendy, he is experienced, he is a beast

Thiago Silva - Koulibaly

can't get much better than that

10m euros a year would be 160K pound a week or something around that, that's within reason

I'd like the attack to have instinctive creative ability. Mount doesn't fit that unless its Norwich.

I only want Mount as a box to box in a back 4, which tbh is the system and style we should be playing the majority of next season.

Mendy

James Kounde De Ligt Chilwell

Bissouma Kovacic

Dembele                 Mount

I've been impressed when I watched him for Netherlands or Inter. Would be great if we get him as part of a deal to offload Lukaku.

Lots of huff and puff but nothing. A bit concerning considering Liverpool, City, and Spurs have signed players already yet we are the only ones who need a complete rebuild.

Read today Richarlison is going to Spurs.

Most of our attention and resources are absorbed in getting rid of that c**t lukaku.

It is a very complicated situation to sort out. Would bot honestly surprise me if we barley brought anyone in, or maybe no one in and all we managed to do so shift Lukaku out on loan on the last day of the window.
