May 15, 20224 yr Watching Brentford at Everton and I wish we could get Erikssen. He’s what we are lacking in midfield at the moment, his pinpoint passes are something we could do with. I know it’s not a rumour or maybe even an option, but I wouldn’t mind him.
May 16, 20224 yr Eriksen, Sterling, Perisic, Pogba would all be great additions. I would also go for Lautaro Martinez to provide that extra bite in attack as well.

May 16, 20224 yr Refael Leao could be an interesting option if one of our attackers especially wingers will leave. Good replacement for Pulisic, Ziyech or CHO.
May 16, 20224 yr If we’re looking a under rated unsexy signings then I’d take Jarrod Bowen ahead of any of our wide forwards.
May 16, 20224 yr Isn't Martinez u for sale? Then Lukaku really has no excuses anymore 😄 Would be an incredible upgrade to Timo as well (who I see us leaving rather sooner than later).

They usually go along very technical and analytical with their signings but a) does Timo know all about their style and has a very positive history there, b) he is playing for Germany and a prolific player so I can see Leipzig wanting to make a signature move to establish themselves even more (like Dortmund buys all the leftovers from the national team for big money mostly because of PR too) and c) they know that Nkunku is about to move either this year or the next. Would be great. Tuchel knows Nkunku well too.

There’s numerous more. No matter what league the player comes from, there’s always people saying “yeah it’s a worry signing a player from that league.” Well, they’ve got to come from somewhere. I reckon you would find Serie A has the lowest success rate among the top leagues. There is a reason why average or ageing PL players thrive in Serie A.

Maybe, but I don’t think the gap is that big amongst the other leagues. I would agree that Serie A does seem to be the “slowest”, i.e. players seem to have a lot of time on the ball there.

Eriksen having to play with a pacemaker could be an issue for european away games, some countries dont allow it, which is why he had to leave italy. He could be a nice weapon to have in prem games, but i wouldnt want to become too reliant on him. Personally think we should just stick with Mount, he is improving every year.

May 18, 20224 yr Cucurella apparently City bound according to rumors. At least I haven't bought the Cucurella bedsheets and matching pyjamas yet...

Forgot we had this thread and posted this on nearest and dearest thread. Good chance they will get him for me as he came though Barcelona youth so I guess a Pep love-in. Though media speculates they will need to raise their bid x2.
May 18, 20224 yr Apparently the new owners will attempt to move on Lukaku however if that does not work they expect TT to focus on getting the nest out of him. Along with that Werner needs to leave and Kante has to sign a new deal on significantly less wages or leave. New owners will apparently not put up with players on star wage not playing (Kante seen as too injury prone) and failing to deliver when then do (Werner, Lukaku and Havertz apparently as well )
