May 8, 20224 yr Leipzig have some interesting names in their squad. Nkunku, Gvardiol, Mukiele, Szoboszlai, Dani Olmo.
May 8, 20224 yr Can Cucurella be my Alex Sandro? I really like the cut of his jib. No idea if the club are looking at him mind.
May 8, 20224 yr I like him and I was also impressed with the LB at Villareal who payed against Liverpoo.

Have to ask @TomCFC85 for permission first. Also are you willing to do the work? You have to be over any comment that mentions him, put posters of him up in your house, change your hair style to match his and by matching PJ'S. Edited May 8, 20224 yr by axman2526

I'll need a fundraiser first because no way I can pull off his hair with my receding hairline.

A superstar over there is an average footballer in a Chelsea shirt. What makes this young man any different, the fact Tuchel knows him could be a major factor. Apparently he's valued at £50-60m but RB want to keep him for another season which I wouldn't be opposed to, would allow for another year of scouting. Werner transitioned fine. He was solid his first couple months here (remember the brace against Southampton?), then lost confidence and still hasn’t fully recovered. Havertz caught COVID and it derailed his settle in period, but now he is one of our best forward players. Who else has come from the Bundesliga that you would have considered to struggle?

I like Werner, Havertz and Pulisic and would still keep them all but there's no denying they've struggled to adapt to this league. They score goals there's no doubting that but if you look at all 3 of their individual styles, each one is more suited to the German league. The challenge is for them to covert their form from over there to over here. Pulisic has had a hot streak but that was when he shoots on site in the box not when he decided to hold on to the ball for too long. Werner just hasn't adapted he's not even close to the player he was at RB he scored 95 goals there. Havertz looked like a wonder kid at Bayern L, he has scored in the ucl and club world cup finals and become somewhat of a clutch player. However, if you look at his shooting technique in Germany same with Timo they have regressed hard over here. They overthink on simple 1v1s when before in Germany they were scoring worldies for fun. The defensive styles the teams use in Germany definitely play a factor and the added physicality and pace over here do make it more of a challenge. Regardless all 3 have still yet to find consistent good form that would equate to their value which is just shy of £200m. Hence my reluctance to go spend another £50m+ on another exciting attacking Bundesliga talent who isn't certain to be as good over here. I'd rather we scout him for longer using the new data driven approach being touted, RB want to keep him for another season I say good all the more time to see if this was a fluke season or the start of a promising career as one of the best attackers in that league and then potentially in Europe.
May 9, 20224 yr I would be happy to let Werner leave or go on loan. I appreciate his work rate yet if you are struggling to score goals you need support from your other front players and he contributes to little for me. I like Havertz as a false 9 and also think he can link up well with other forwards though is not clinical. Pulisic for me is a squad option and more of a sub option, I don't see him as a regular starter. Nothing against him starting when others are injured though.

I forgot about Pulisic, fair enough. I just think it’s tough to think everyone will struggle solely based on what league they came from. It’s a small sample size.
May 9, 20224 yr Is Darwin Nunez the next top player to come out of the Portugese league? Should we be after him?

Wouldn't even be that against it for like £30m or so. He's a different beast for England, i think at another club away from the toxic Utd squad and price tag he'd do well.

I also think Boubacar Kamara would be a fantastic heir to Thiago Silva, and he is available on a free transfer. Still would need a midfielder, and another dynamic left wing back. Ampadu isn't good enough and don't want Kounde; takes too many risks and makes too many errors.

They'll be working on plenty of decisions before the takeover is completed. They just won't be able to enact them until then.

I really like Kounde, I think he is tailor made for right centre back. He does take risks though, but he still young for a centre back. Ive seen Koulibaly pop up as an option now, who could be a smart signing to replace rudiger in terms of experience as well as ability. Really surprised we havent been linked with Bastoni though, he is the perfect left centre back. Surely we couldnt wrong with Bastoni - Thiago Silva - Kounde

Koulibaly on his last year so won't go for much but De Laurentiis is a massive ball breaker so who knows.
May 13, 20224 yr Talk is that Perisic is coming on a free. He is 33 and wages wouldn’t be colossal but that , if correct, would suggest departures from CHO, Werner or Pulisic
