Give me some positive rumors of us being linked with unknown quality players.

We are linked to Michael Keane and Ben Gibson. Reportedly picked out by Conte but I doubt it myself.

Our team is crying out for a proper Number 10-We constantly inter change between Willian, Oscar, Fabregas & Hazard to fill that role behind the striker and none of them have the physical presence to create that space for Costa or the composure in the last third to get goals consistently. 

Oscar is far too inconsistent

Willian & Hazard have the tendency to go wide even when playing in a central position

Fabregas is far more effective playing deeper which offers him more time to pick out a pass

I know defense is priority at present but I struggle to see where goals are going to come from once Costa gets suspended or hits a dry spell. We can get Batshuayi in to play alongside Costa but we need someone like James Rodrigues, Cavani or Griezmann in to offer a more direct goal threat.

Two of the three mentioned aren't number 10's. I would argue we don't need a number 10 as it is an outdated role. Chelsea look best at the moment with a 343 or 433, none of which have a specialised role for a 10.

read that thiago silva's contract due to expire next june and he's interested in going to PL

oscar willian and luiz will have some recruitment duty to do imagine getting him for free, he's 32 but still a lot left in his tank, might solve our leadership problem too when terry's gone

Seems we were hunting Leandro Paredes in spring, this guy does actually remind me of Lampard... He is not number 10, but solid 8

No, Bellerin is actually a competent full-back.

Not a rumour, but we should be all over Fekir on january or summer, he is absolutely amazing and he would fit in our team like a glove on the RW, imo THE player we need, either him or griezmann, we desperately need another goal scorer, willian, moses and Pedro just dont cut it for me

I know that, but our RW has been bothering me for far too long, if you look at it, you will find that all the top teams have two WC wingers, the only one we have right now who can be put on that bracket is Hazard, we simply need a WC RW if we want to be at that level and IMO Fekir is exactly what we need, an inverted winger who scores plenty of goals, is scarily skillfull, strong AND is probably available if we put in a good bid for him, considering that he plays for Lyon, we simply cannot miss out on him while he is available like we did with Dybala and Griezmann, or we will regret it badly later

All the top teams have two WC wingers? Doesn't that work against the idea they are WC? Fekir is WC now?

I wouldnt call him WC yet, but he is already a pretty damn good player, who scores plenty of goals and can definitely share the responsibility with Hazard, and relieve him of the burden of having to create 90% of our chances, and he is still very young, and can definitely be a mainstay on our team for years to come

not a rumour, but i would be all for going in for van dijk of Southampton. watching him vs city he was brilliant. dunno if we could go in for him in jan but worth a shot. 

i've been the biggest van djik cheerleader around and this season he really took his game to the next level 

we should definitely go all in on him in january since southampton is a willing selling club who knows, before he goes to barcelona or psg and became unsellable
