I hold no grudge against Frank for a year at City. He signed for another team, which happened to be owned by City, then a short term loan turned into a full season. It's not like he signed up for Spurs or Arsenal.Yes, I hold grudges against Cech for that very same reason.

I don't hold it against him either, he didn't know he would be playing for City when he signed up in the first place. 

Apart from City being a direct title contender in 2014/2015, I couldn't understand the hysteria around Frank playing for City for a year after we let him go.

As time goes on, he'll always be remembered as a Chelsea legend rather than playing for City for a measly season.

Make of it what you will. The more Tammy continues to impress and the longer Solanke goes without a new contract the worse it is for him IMO. If he wants 50k on the back of nothing then good luck to him somewhere else. Sell him with a buy back clause or even a first refusal type deal

for a January transfer that transfer better be prepared to sit Conte is loathe to take out the starters when winning, and with no CL football he doesn't really have to 

so in January they need transfers willing to wait for injuries and tiredness to get in some limited playing time with a view to playing more next year 

 

as for summer transfers we will likely be playing CL football next year so rotational depth is required 

another ST another W another CM another CB  RWB/LWB stud etc 

so there'stalk of alexis sanchez possibly declining a contract renewal if arsenal don't win something big this season. if this is the case would anyone here want us to try buy him from arsenal? would have loved him here over willian a few years ago, but never happened. he has been performing well since he came to the premier league and having him next to costa and hazard would be incredible. his workrate and goal threat would be something, i am sure, would be admired highly by conte and i think he'd fit our system well. thoughts?

I don't think we are going to bid for anyone. Conte's done brilliantly assessing our squad and giving roles in 3-4-3 formation. Goalies: good, defensemen: good, Midfield: good, Attack: good.

I would absolutely love sanchez here, but he would probably have to run his contract down for us to see him come here. 

I dont think arsenal are in the same position financially as they were when they were selling half their team to manchester. 

I think they would rather lose him on a free, than sell to us, even for big money. 

It would be a scary front 3 though with hazard and sanchez supporting costa.

I doubt we will ever get Sanchez, but it's stir up the pot, should be fun. It's ironic Wenger been talking up players stay for titles and trophies, not for money. That's not something Arsenal been good at in the last 10 years. They will have to break the bank to ask Sanchez to sign on, otherwise Sanchez's agent isn't doing his/her job and deserve to be sacked.

He has Willians work rate, Hazards ability to score goal and Pedros knack of making good runs.

It would cost us about 250k a week and probably Pogba money but it would be a great transfer.

Plus, it would pi*s off the Gooners to take their star player., I'm all for it. :)

I'm surprised we didn't go for him when Barcelona wanted to sell him. What a great opportunity missed that was. I'm sure we could have matched whatever Arsenal offered.

Sanchez wants more than Arsenal are willing to offer, Agent leaks story about Chelsea, Arsenal give Sanchez what he wants. The End.
