No way.

Give me an experienced, premier league winner, no fuss midfielder over some fancy Spanish youth midfielder.

We have to remember it's for the 4th spot in midfield, and I'd definitely take an experienced player over a prospect. If we sign Llorente then why didn't we persuade Chalobah to stay or even ask Baker to stay?

We did try to persuade Chalobah with a new contract and he rejected it.

Baker is not and never has been anywhere close to good enough.

How is Llorente any better than Baker? Llorente seems raw and inexperienced. He'd need time to break into first team, exactly same situation as RLC and Baker.

I don't get why we'd sign a wonderkid when we already have a few. Makes sense to sign an established midfielder for cover and if Baker and RLC impresses then we know we'll have them for next season.

Seems a bit of an apples and oranges comparison

RLC i can go with but i'm happy he's out playing regularly, it will help us more in the long run.

Baker shouldn't even be mentioned with RLC, he's nowhere close to his level. I don't understand people's obsession with constantly mentioning him as a squad option. He's 22. It's been blatantly obvious for about 3 years that he's nowhere close to good enough to even get within a sniff of playing for a top half of the league side let alone us.

Wtf do we go for players of teams that we're playing next?

Don't get me wrong, he's a decent player but last week was Toby of Spuds then Gueye..

Suspect we are in for both midfielders.

Anthony Conte is interested in signing Everton star Idrissa Gueye if Chelsea fail to complete a deal for England international Danny Drinkwater.

This guy is better than Kante, just ask Jon Stakes ha!

If Gueye was ok playing behind Baka and Kante, then I'd be ok with this signing.  Appears, so far at least, that he will be part of the first 11 at Everton though.

First of all: Anthony.

Secondly: Conte gives press conferences where he is asked things like his favourite players and so on. He'd never say I want this or that player.

If he's not going to get decent game time with us, I'm not opposed to him leaving on loan, an English club would be ideal, I think he's above Birmingham's level though. I agree, getting cover for other positions is the priority right now, but I just can't stand to see more players leave, without rectifying this first.

It just sticks in my craw us letting the poisonous retard Redknapp have any of our players on loan. The bile this twat regularly rolls out is so thinly veiled that his loathing of Chelsea is embarrassingly apparent. Why should we do anything for this waster

You have a point, the man has criticised our loan policy on many occasions, now he wants to reap the benefits from it, he's a hypocrite.

Leicester won't sell but i'd be delighted to part with Batshuayi and £15m for Vardy.
(not saying Bats to Leicester but rather getting £35m for him from someone)

Any deal that will involve Michy leaving on a permanent deal is an absolute NO for me.

Conte sacked say the press.

Tuchel new manager.

This is the funniest one yet :laugh2: Just off the back of a stellar win against Spurs and all.

Barcelona have surprisingly pulled the plug on their interest in Nice midfielder Jean Michael Seri, reports Mundo Deportivo.

Barca had all but sealed a €40m deal with Nice yesterday (Tuesday) after agreeing a four-year contract with the player and both teams had planned to announce the transfer today (Wednesday). However, senior Barca figures changed their mind last night (Tuesday) and the LaLiga club will not snap up the Ivory Coast international.

Seri featured in Nice’s defeat to Napoli last night – a match many thought would be his last in a Nice shirt – and says he will be available for the French side this weekend.

“No, it was not my last match with Nice, I will be in Amiens on Saturday for the Ligue 1 match,” he said after the match.

Would love him here...9 assists and 6 goals last season for Nice...

I hope you're right, but Chelsea sacked Di Matteo after winning a Champions League, so... It will not be a win over Tottenham to stop Granoskaia from kicking Antonio in the ass.
