August 20, 20178 yr CHELSEA could offer Grzegorz Krychowiak a route out of Paris St-Germain this summer. That’s according to The Sun, who claim a loan deal for the Poland international may be considered as an alternative to pursuing Danny Drinkwater. Krychowiak followed his former Sevilla boss Unai Emery to the Parc des Princes last July. But he endured a debut campaign to forget in France, making just 11 Ligue 1 appearances as PSG surrendered the title to Monaco. L’Equipe claimed this week that Krychowiak is free to leave PSG as they restructure following Neymar’s world-record arrival from Barcelona.
August 20, 20178 yr Arias has been linked for a few windows now. Krychowiak I think is the best 'available' player for midfield. More of a destroyer but played in a midfield two with distinction at Sevilla. With Bakayoko's injury record and Cesc perhaps a bit exposed in a two man midfield he'd be a sensible signing.
August 20, 20178 yr Krychowiak is a great player. Sign him up over Danny D. When he's in midfield it's so dense, every single game has so much going on.

Should be around 20m-ish for both. Very shrewd signing

That would be a good signing, it's becoming obvious that we're waiting until deadline day though, probably have some stupid deal with Sky or something.
August 20, 20178 yr Will there be any players we will not be 'linked' with over the remaining days of this horrid window? It's all I ever read is 'linked' with; even over the last week or so things seemed to have gone extremely quiet with apparently no progress being reported anywhere , even with the likes of Drinkwater. It's not like this club has not got the money; if the owner and the board consider us a 'big' club on the worlds stage then we best start acting like one instead of penny pinching like Spurs and other mid-table clubs. The money in the PL is absurd these days yet so called world class players are choosing other options abroad. I am sure the manager, like the fans, is not happy the way things are panning out this window. Well let's hope it gets turned around post-haste and turn this window around into a positive one at least to shut the media and pundits up if nothing else.
August 20, 20178 yr Another central defender? Seriously, are we going to play 631? Any enquiry sent to Spurs will results in public humiliation by those c*

August 21, 20178 yr CHELSEA have made a bid for Real Madrid ace Marcos Llorente. Antonio Conte is desperate to splash the cash and mount another title charge this season. The Blues boss also has Champions League football to focus on this time round. And according to Spanish transfer outlet Don Balon, Chelsea have made a move for Llorente, 22. They reckon the midfielder has an offer on the table from the Blues to join the Premier League champions. Don Balon add that Llorente has other offers from La Liga clubs to quit Real this summer.
August 21, 20178 yr Can't imagine him breaking into their current midfield, but why would Real sell another young player to us ? If they do, I'm starting to fear Hazard may be playing his last season in a blue jersey.

Benzema could start declining and Ronaldo is slowly being converted into a CF and Bale is injury prone. They'd probably have to choose between O. Dembele, Mbappe or Hazard or the new World Cup flavour of the month and any of those would cost them a fortune now that Neymar destroyed the threshold.
August 21, 20178 yr No way. Give me an experienced, premier league winner, no fuss midfielder over some fancy Spanish youth midfielder. We have to remember it's for the 4th spot in midfield, and I'd definitely take an experienced player over a prospect. If we sign Llorente then why didn't we persuade Chalobah to stay or even ask Baker to stay?

Not exactly 4th, fan isn't a natural replacement for our cm's he is more of an impact or specialist player, conte would hesitate to start him game after game in case of an injury and bring bakas condition it's not a far fetched idea to think a midfielder we signed would get game time at the very least rotation
August 22, 20178 yr Someone I actually would like in our team. Like an English PEA, but the is that he is an out and out counterstriker, and when his pace is gone, what do you've got ? Llorente seems more like a smart striker with good bodylenght. Both are reaching their end, so for the right price I gladly would take one of them.
August 22, 20178 yr I'd rather we go for Mahrez than Vardy. Vardy's a pace merchant and won't create or especially good at hold up play.
August 22, 20178 yr Boga to Birmingham on loan, makes sense as he wasn't even on the bench against Spurs. I think if this happens before we add to the depth, I'm going to go mad.

We have 7 forwards: Morata, Michy, Hazard, Pedro, Willian, Musonda and Cesc for 3 positions who would start ahead of Boga. Its the mid and the wing back position that we really really want some bodies in.

If he's not going to get decent game time with us, I'm not opposed to him leaving on loan, an English club would be ideal, I think he's above Birmingham's level though. I agree, getting cover for other positions is the priority right now, but I just can't stand to see more players leave, without rectifying this first.
