January 4, 20233 yr I tell you what Mudryk has serious wheels on him, I bet he’s Mbappe quick, skilful, can score, direct, so not what we can utilise….move on, how Giroud resign 🤣🤣🤣

We allegedly have Leao as our numbers 1 winger priority, along with all but secured the signing of Zakharyan. This feels like leaks from Shaktar's end to get Arsenal to up their bid. This is the type of sh*t we would've done last summer, not under Vivell, Stewart, etc. I read somewhere though (probably rubbish) that Leao is dead in the water and he is on the verge of resigning a longer contract with AC

This is similar to how we handled things last summer. Enzo at the very least was a player we were working on prior to the WC finishing.

It doesn't help that we have seen pandemics pass quicker than our lot doing medicals. Hopefully Badiashile and Santos will get the medicals completed before the window closes.

January 6, 20233 yr Linked with Real Valladolid youngster Ivan Fresneda as a RB option. Should cost only 20m euros by some reports.

January 7, 20233 yr Second player linked from a German club that, and the moment, is available on a free transfer in the summer. First one being that 18 year old striker from Dortmund. This latest link is for Markus Thuram, forward/winger from Gladback.
January 7, 20233 yr This is why it really infuriated me that Tuchel tried to sign the hakimi and we unsettled livramento. if they get relegated we should definitely try to get him back.. with Reece’s injury troubles he will play enough.
January 7, 20233 yr Watched a few of the guys who are Chelsea fans on YouTube that cover news and gossip about us. Few bits and pieces about Arsenal target Mudryk. His agent has been quoted as saying his transfer is up to Shaktar and they are not putting any pressure on the club to sell him to a particular club, even after they have agreed terms with Arsenal. So unlike Enzo they are not kicking up a fuss that Shaktar haven't agreed a fee with Arsenal. It was photographed that Srna from Shaktar was in Todd's private box at the Bridge on Wednesday. He and Todd are said to have formed enough of a verbal understanding that he gave us permission to discuss a contract with Mudryk and his agent. Mudryk is said to be open to the move as he wants what is best for Shaktar as well as himself, and most importantly wants to know he will get chance to play often in a top league, which is why when he was asked about a potential move to Real he distance himself from it due to who they already have in his position. Shaktar as said to be asking for a fee of 80mill euros plus 20mill euros in bonuses. He may need his own thread as these fellas have quoted a few sources saying he is open to discussing the move to us and is not set in stone to move to Arsenal. Edu is also not willing to go near that price and won't overpay for players anymore, Pepe cough. Way too much money for a player from the Ukraine league imo.

Kephren. 21 yo rangy DM at Nice. Youtube clips mind you, which always show the unvarnished truth don't they. Still young and looks useful.
January 8, 20233 yr Reports saying we’re interested in Thuram as he has 6 months left on his deal. Scored double figures for last 3 seasons (in Germany - be warned). Though his injury record isn’t great unfortunately.

January 9, 20233 yr Apparently looking at Madueke as well as Thuram. Neither have a brilliant injury record, although I think Thuram would be worth a punt, as his physical attributes are something severely lacking in our front line. I also think he would dovetail well with Felix. Madueke is interesting, but maybe for the summer since PSV already lost Gakpo. Thuram, Felix, Enzo, Pedro Porro, would be a fantastic window.

It's going to be hard to sign a decent right back though, as they know James is top dog here on a long contract. I havent seen much of him, other than about 20 minutes vs Spurs in the group stages.

I like Thuram, he fast, strong and direct. Though he's not a 'pure striker' from what I've seen, he likes to play on the left. Honestly I wish we'd have a look at Mitrovic. He's 28, prem proven, and is scoring well for a side that isnt exactly brimming with quality. Whether Fulham would listen to offers is tough to gauge, especially in January. But hey, from his perspective he wouldn't even have to move house!
