Honestly I wish we'd have a look at Mitrovic. He's 28, prem proven, and is scoring well for a side that isnt exactly brimming with quality. Whether Fulham would listen to offers is tough to gauge, especially in January. But hey, from his perspective he wouldn't even have to move house! He can play down the left, but this year he has played either as a lone striker in a 4231, or in a front 2 with hofmann. I think he is ideal tbh. Only 6 months left on his deal so hopefully available for under £20m, only 25 too, so plenty of room to still grow, and physically looks tailor made for english football. Mitrovic and Toney both great options too but they will be expensive, especially in January.

Was completely unaware of both of these facts If the price is indeed that low then I think you're right, bit of a no brainer

Any one got an opinion on Noni Madueke?

Not watching a lot of Bundesliga, but isn't Moukoko also out of contract soon and supposed to be a huge talent? Might be a better option than Thuram, especially with the frenchmans injury record. January 10, 20233 yr Pierre-Emerick Aubameyangadingdong (S/LW) It was a huge mistake signing him in the summer - Tuchel may have got more out of him? but we will never know. There is a rumour that he is going to Athletico Madrid circulating. With Cunha leaving Atletico he has becomes a loan option . . . but they have a much preferred choice that they will look to first. Auba's agent will look to Germany and Italy to see if other options can be found - but his HUGE wages are a huge issue. Chelsea are open to him leaving and his agent has been looking for options.

Looks a great prospect, not sure if he is physically ready to lead the line in the prem though. I'd still lean towards Thuram, but it's just trying to convince him to move midseason, when he could just run his contract down and have more options in the summer.
January 13, 20233 yr Caicedo and Mac Allister for 140mill anyone. Rumours about we are trying for both after losing Zakaria.

Must be an 18 month loan then, as he is ineligible to play for another team this season since he already played for Chelsea and Barcelona

He said that when he first arrived at PSV, that he started like a rocket. He blasted through everyone and he even anahilated Ajax on his own. The kid clearly has a lot of potential. However, in the last 2 years he barely played games due to injuries. (And when I checked on transfermarked. This seems to be correct). All in all he said that he has a lot of talent, but 30 mil would be insane at this point. He surely isn't a short term improvement to the Chelsea squad according to him. Looking at his injury record he would fit perfectly in our squad. 18 games already missed this season and 25 the season before. Will be 35 with our medical team next season. When Gary Neville said we have this mad scattergun approach earlier in the season I thought here we go Neville having a pop again. But there’s no doubt we aren’t decisive at all in the transfer market, we are all over the place. Edited January 14, 20233 yr by 2211

January 14, 20233 yr I'm thinking it might be because he's Ukranian, Boehly might think it'd improve our brand
January 14, 20233 yr Ornstein and Simon Johnson reporting that Mudryk is open to joining Chelsea, so I guess that’s good. If he does agree to come, shouldn’t we be happy? We’d basically done to Arsenal what Barcelona did to us last summer. The player is good.
