Call me crazy, but I think spending over 100m on Osihmen will be reminiscent to how we operated in the past on brining in big money strikers, and for that reason alone I'm against it.

Rather we remain patient and develop what we or until the right ST becomes available.

Save half the cash and resign Tammy in that case. Osimhen is nowhere near the levels of Kane, Haaland, Benzema, Lewandowski. For that kind of money a striker should be top drawer.

At 25 years old, we’ve seen everything we need to see from Tammy now and he couldn’t hold a candle to Osimhen.

As elite as Osimhen is, the system at Napoli is just so perfect for him, he spearheads attacks, not going to be the guy to link up play, create space or be super technical; more like Haaland. He is the Nigerian Haaland and like the Norwegian, I’m not sure he’d work here as seemingly traditional 9’s just always flop with us.

And as mentioned many times before, Napoli owner De Laurentis is like Levy, he only sells if he wants to; we got Koulibaly because he’s finished, Napoli upgraded with Kim.

Hakim Ziyech has two offers from the middle east. Loan offers. He has also rejected an offer from a Turkish side. Potter selected him for our last game, but his days are numbered.

Long term. . . .Hakim Ziyech (RW) Milan remain very keen on the player but not the wage demands. Roma tried hard in January and will return in the summer. PSG may well also return after his failed move. Newcastle offer a wildcard option in the summer but interest has drifted.

Ziyech? We were right to buy him. He was exactly what we needed at that time. It just didn't work out for him entirely in his time with us. He looked much better in the World cup than he did for us.

TBF he's probably the number one or two striker in Europe this season. Gets the goals and does all the gritty work too.

He's ahead of Benzema, Lewa and arguably Haaland for his overall game at the moment.

Send Koulibaly back to them and use it to knock some money off the Osimhen deal

They wouldn't take him back now. First season without him and they look like they are going to win the title comfortably. I don't know what Koulibaly did to convince people that he was so good all of these years.

By overall game do you mean technically and tactically? Because nothing I've seen of him has been anywhere near their level. He's had a very efficient season playing for arguably the best team in Europe this season. Can't argue with his goals but making a nuisance of yourself should be the bare minimum. Our next 9, say if they're not going to play Nkunku there, needs to be someone technically great and who can be effective in wide areas.

What he did was... simply be great. Everything people would claim to be the strengths of say Virgil van Dyk, he had that in his locker and he did it for longer. But he is not the first good footballer to struggle with the pace of this league and he won't be the last.

But he was, the fact he's so heavily declined now shouldn't distract from that.

I always had my doubts, all of the way back to when we were first linked with him years ago. The issues with dealing with players with pace and a bit of trickery have always been there, he just wasn't exposed to it as much in Italy, or it was ignored or missed by those that love to say "this player is a beast" when they have only watched that player a handful of times. I never bought into the Koulibaly hype and I don't think he has dropped off that much, I just don't think he was ever all that good.

Well that answer is easy: Serie A has developed a habit of making players look better than they are. Come to think of it, maybe we shouldn’t be after Osimhen…

creates more chances than Kane and does more dirty work chasing loose balls. The same Kane that people praise for his creative ability.

If you had Peter Crouch playing in the prime Barcelona team, he would create more chances than Kane. It's relative and not all chances are created equal. Kane creates chances that you would expect of the best 10s in the game. Again, chasing loose balls is the bare minimum. He is nowhere near this generation's best strikers technically.

Who's better and on his level?

I mentioned 3 originally that are better and above his level. But if I must - Haaland, Benzema, Kane, Jota, Jesus, Lewandowski.....hell, even Nkunku playing as a 9 last season was also better in almost every area.

I like this. Was thinking today, you know with the attacking midfield talent we have got we don't really need a headline goalscorer.  A true centre forward that can act as a foil and allow players to work off of him and can bring others in..you know where i am going with this dont you.......

I miss Oli.

Giroud would have been great with Felix  Mudryk  Enzo, all feeding balls into him and picking up intelligent return passes. Aaahh

For this Roni Hudd would be perfect. Super fast player with a ball.

I would also give chance to our academy player Jimmy-Jay Morgan. We need to drive to CF position someone young, who can take Chelsea to shoulders for next 10 years.

"Super fast" ?

We'll soon knock that out of him
