May 10, 201610 yr On the 13th April 1906 we had 67.000 at The Bridge watching a 1-1 draw with Man Utd in the 2nd Division. Our first season ! Incidentally our first ever FA Cup opponents were 'The First Grenedier Guards' who we played in the 1st FA Cup Qualifying Round on 7th Oct 1905 at The Bridge in front of 5,000 spectators and we won 6-1.
