Who would you rather win the league: Man U, Spurs or City?

Featured Replies

I was thinking about it today and obviously this argument is disgarding Chelsea due to our league position at the moment...

I think the real question is who would you like to win the league the least out of all three... ?

Which is the question? Who we'd rather win the league (as in the title of the thread) or who we'd least like to win, as in the body of the thread?

Both kind of.. if you prefer one team to another who would you like to win the league, and if you dislike all of them which one would you be least annoyed about winning the league...

Not sure if that makes any sense at all.

Yes it does. In order of preference (barring miracles which see Chelsea in top position)

1. Man City

2. Man U

3. Spuds

Colchester United

There's always one kid who doesn't answer the question! I was tempted to answer Accrington Stanley, but decided not to mess about!

Don't care as long as it's not Spurs or Liverpool. Man utd we've come to accept as the norm, so wouldn't be particularly interesting if they won it. City perhaps since they've not won it before, but I'd have to look on jealously at their squad as they do it.

Citeh by a wide margin.

Never United, as they win too much and have a difficult-to-like manager in Sir Alex Rednose.

Tottenham is too much of a rival to want them to win, but I love their style of play this season.

Don't really care as long as it's not Tottenham. There's probably a psychological advantage to Man Utd winning rather than Man City as if it's the former it seems like 'more of the same' and if it's the latter it will seem to them like the sky is the limit.

If Spurs win the league, I will use my dreamtime to fly to England, punch Redknapp, kidnap Modric, put Bale in a high security zoo, and take a crap in the fridges of every other player.

Of course, this isn't attainable in real life...mwahahahaha

Hmmm

Thank God there's dreamtime ...

1 - Man.City - hav'nt won it before and actually play some decent football.

2- Man.Utd - won it so many times it's almost normal. I'd prefer them winning it again, compared to Arsenal or Liverpool winning it.

3 - Spurs

Don't hate spurs as much as most, but we would never hear the end of it if they won the league and that would be hell.

The other week on a friday, i came home from work and switched on Sky Sports News to catch up with the latest news, and all i saw was Sky Sports News reporters asking each manager at their own club's press conference to comment on how great a job Harry Redknapp was doing at Spurs. Fair enough i thought, it must be Harry's birthday, or his 1000th game in charge, or some sort of other milestone.

It was'nt neither. It was just a normal match. It got so ridiculous that Arsene Wenger had to remind journalists that they were actually at an Arsenal press conference. That incident alone makes me dread what the media would be like if Spurs actually won the league. The irony is that after all that praise for Harry, Spurs could only manage a 1-1 draw at home to Wolves.
