Michael Owen , Would You Take Him ?

Featured Replies

Yeah he is 32 and injury prone , but he is available on a free , should we go for him ? I feel he could bag an important goal here and there , we want a back-up to Torres and Sturridge , why not go for Owen ?

We do want a back-up to Torres and Sturridge, but I'm sure we'd like to have someone who is fit to play when called upon, not someone who will keep our medical staff busy.

Don't think he has the passion for the game anymore, nor does he have the physical capability to remain at the top level. Seems more interested in racing horses, dogs and the like...

Ruined his career when he went to Madrid.

Owen?

The 1 thing that made him decent was pace and that is now gone, he's finished as a footballer.

We are the European champions ffs.

I think he is struggling to get a club because he rates himself higher than everyone else does. If he wants to play then he needs to drop his demands.

Owen went to the dogs a long time ago...

I thought the horses were more his thing these days?

Lovely couple. He's the one on the left.

With his missus! He's the one on the left!

Here he is again, the one on the right....
