god help me.....

And I guess everyone saw how Roman sat on his hands when Frank came off on Sunday, had that had been Torres he would have been giving him a standing 'O'.   Frank is a good as gone.....why....because Roman knows best and Frank will leave being the top goalscorer in the clubs history..

I was just looking at the individual awards Lampard has won and i was shocked to see that Lampard has only won 4 Player of the month awards. Surely for someone as consistent as him should have won more than 4 player of the month awards.

 

Even more bizarre than that is Drogba never winning a single one. Especially crazy when you think of how immense he was in the 06/07 and 09/10 season...

Wow, i didn't know that. That's just ridiculous, how could Drogba not win a single player of the month award yet Adam Le Fondre can win it just by coming off the bench and scoring a few late goals ?

Player/Manager of the month is a complete joke anyway.

 

I disagree with who it is award to nearly every month. Le Fondre winning player of the month and having a total playing time of probably less than 90 minutes is just pathetic. 

What game would you prefer Lampard to to become the all time top goalscorer ?

 

Mine would be the home game against West Ham on the 17th March. Seeing him score his 203rd goal against the team who has booed him his whole career seems fitting. It's like the ultimate slap in the face to all of them

It doesn't bother me in which game he does it in, but I would just love to see him do it. He deserves it considering he's the heart and soul for this club and the way he's conducted himself in 12 years he's been here for.

 

I really hope when he does break the record, that Roman actually sees that a figure like Frank can't just leave like that. He's too well-liked by the fans. Certain players like him and Terry should be at the club for life. Just look at Giggs and Scholes from Man Utd or even Zanetti from Inter Milan.

Chances are we won't make it to the FA cup final with Benitez at the helm and chances are he will have broken the record before then anyway but how perfect would it be to get his 203rd in a victory at Wembley

The 34-year-old's current deal is up at the end of the season with his time at Stamford Bridge seemingly drawing to a close.

He has been in impressive form recently though, with the club's hierarchy understood to be considering opening talks on a new contract.

But Chelsea chief executive Ron Gourlay insisted he was misquoted at a press conference in Bangkok when asked about Lampard's future at the club.

so what did Ronny Boy say then ?

one minute they confirm it, next they deny it, then confirm it, then deny it, FFS what is going on?? It says that Gourlay said they want to keep it confidential at this moment in time, so maybe they're covering their backs by denying it. I have no idea any more! The PR needs to be spot on, otherwise Sky Sports and other media sources get a hold of this news and it's everywhere within an hour or less, then when it's denied, it makes us look like f**king idiots!

Did Gourlay actually confirm it or are the press just making things up again?

Injustice. Sheer Injustice.

Chelsea chief executive Ron Gourlay refuses to talk about a new deal forFrank Lampard while promoting his club's summer tour in Thailand.

He tells the club's website: "I am not prepared to discuss this at this time.

"Obviously conversations must remain confidential between the club and the players at all times so that is as much as I can say."

Sounds like talks are going to go ahead but he is covering his tracks, he is so slimey.

The club has stated many times that they never comment on transfer speculation etc.. Although this has come out rather messy as usual.

I just hope Mourinho has been on the phone telling them to keep Frank or he's not interested.
