Frank has been going through a little blip recently. Can he score three more goals this season to break the record?

We need three more penalties with Frank on the pitch. 

Watching the season review of 2004/05 and he let Gudjohnson take a pen to get his hat-trick against Blackburn - he'd have 201 if he hadn't done that!

I've no doubts he'll do it. We're bound to get another penalty or two before the season is out.

Worst case scenario: He has 9 games left to do it.

 If Jose comes back SFL will be going nowhere.  Believe me the first player Jose will sign is Frank Lampard for two more seasons.

Im there when we play spurs so it would make me very happy if the 3rd one occurs then.....

I'm starting to get paranoid again he wont do it, i know its only three goals but Rafa plays him in a dm position & thats when he actually starts a game, look at yesterday FL came on with about 5mins left.

 

I'd love him to just get it done now no matter who its against.

I think he will probably play 4-5 matches during the rest of the season. Not all of them from the start.

At the moment it does look like he will miss out, but we all know what Lampard is like, he goes on runs like this then out of the blue he scores 3 or 4 goals in as many games.

A special pass today for our opener. 

If he doesn't make it, I don't mind too much. Still Chelsea's best ever player and an idol of mine.

I agree. But he will make it!

He is going to do it, score the winner in the final of the Europa league  to break the record :).

potentially 10 games left if we reach europa lge final and Frank needs 3 goals. I was totally confident he would break Bobby's record but I think there aren't enough games left now considering FSW won't play him let alone start him in all 10 games. Will still be a Chels legend in my eyes and my all time favourite over 40 yrs of supporting chels. I was gutted whenn Kerry didn't do it missing it by 10 but will be more so if Lamps doesn't break it or at least equal it.
