Lampard for me but I thought Mata, Oscar, Hazard and Moses were fantastic also. If I could pick all five I would but Lampard stood out for me. He was all over the pitch, and his leadership skills really showed whilst we were struggling in the first half. 

One of those wins that was a real team performance, if i had to pick one i'd say Oscar, as I think he was responsible for starting most of our good attacking play and was energetic in defence.

What type of contract extension just out of interest?

My vote goes to Mata, but I also liked Oscar in this match apart from the suspect defensive positioning. 

Lamps tonight,he was really 'up' for this,led by example and showed the younger lads what a cup tie on a rivals ground means to the fans.

Mata - The little genius . Lamps was good , as was Oscar and Hazard when he came on .

Lampard played well in the second half. But if I was the interim manager I would have subbed him off after 20 minutes - the worst 20 minutes I've ever seen from him.

 

Voted for Mata as usual.

Hard as I try, I'm very rarely able to vote for anyone other than Mata.

 

Tonight I failed as usual.

I went for Hazard. I thought our play went from laboured to class after his substitution and the subsequent flow of goals was a reflection of that. Not to say that others weren't good (Mata, Moses) but Hazard was the man who took us to the next level and was a large part of the reason our second half performance was streets ahead of the first.

Mata, but like Plokoon also thought Hazard played really well when he came on. Frank performed well overall but for the first 15 minutes played like he was 104 rather than 34.

Lampard. Showed the new boys how to dig into those c**ts. Love how Oscar is so powerful as well. Marin was pretty invisible, but I won't judge him on that.

Has to be Mata again, but a great second half performance by all. Disappointed that once we got to 4 / 5, Benitez couldn't have given one of the youngsters a run out. What is the point of putting Paulo on at that stage?

 

And yet further evidence last night of why Luiz should be playing in the midfield once we have our other centre backs available (as if we needed more evidence).

Can't pick one single player out, i thought that was one of, if not the best team performance from us this season.

Especially taking into account the jet lag, being 1-0 down, and general 'piss poorness' recently.

I was proud of the team and the travelling fans last night.. 

For me personally (despite the presence of the FSW) that win gave me a great lift as a Chelsea fan... And i certainly needed it!!

Mata all the way.

Mata does this week in and out for us and approaching legend status already, Oscar was intelligent, puts his foot in and pure quality. But Lampard gets it for me for being a general, fighting spirit, getting stuck in and getting a yellow, love it.

Super Frank, set the tone when he went though that nasty piece of work Diouf. Will miss him & Ash when they are gone.

 I personally thought Oscar was good tracking back and winning the ball but his passing was more than suspect, gave the ball away loads of times by underhitting his passes.

 

What type of contract extension just out of interest?

 

Same type as Giggs & Scholes at Scum, offer him a year Im sure he would take it

& see how the next season plays out, he has a wise head and as proven yesterday

is passionate about the club
