February 23, 20179 yr Apparently Nate is an ambassador for the Kick it Out campaign. Today he attended a workshop at a primary school about equality and diversity. It also reminded me that he spent a year on loan at Napoli, something that I had completely forgotten and although he didn't play a lot whilst there apparently helped his development immensely.

He was on the bench vs Palace, lately however Cesc has been playing more over Matic so we don't really need him on the bench as we already have a shut the game down option there in the Serb, the mini resurgence of RLC hasn't helped his cause either.

I'd say RLC is the biggest reason there.
April 7, 20179 yr Can imagine he'll be sold in the summer unfortunatly. Didn't quite take his chances well enough when he got starts in the FA-cup for me and probably Conte.

He will never be a starter but i think there's a John O Shea like long term squad player type role if he wants it.
May 9, 20179 yr Hope he sticks around. Seems to have a really good attitude and for a man that could easily have had his fill with 7 successive loans he's knuckled down and earned some minutes. I imagine he'll have more of an impact next season due to the increase in our fixture list.

June 16, 20179 yr Typical England opening tournament fixture. Abraham had a couple of half chances in the first half, Baker didn't get into the game and Nat had more of the ball but also made more mistakes.

Abraham looked tired imo and struggled to get any service but did not really do much. Baker did not take control and Chalobah imo was the poorest out of the three. Was not comfortable in possession and struggled to contain the counter in second half. Quite lucky to get away with a point tbh. Anyway fist game. Important thing is they did not lose and hopefully a better performances form the Blues lot in the next game.
June 16, 20179 yr yeah i caught the game. to be fair to abraham, he was getting hardly any service and when he did they were half chances. he looked hungry though and out to impress, but baked and chalobah disappointed me somewhat. i thought baker may be better suited to playing deeper tbh, as a number 10 behind the striker i don't think he's as effective. the whole england team was poor, and that number 14 was useless.
June 16, 20179 yr At 22 I would have expected more from Baker and Chalobah tbh. Tammy needs to take those half chances but to be fair to him he's still just 19. For me Baker was just a liability out there, I didn't see anything from him to suggest he's ahead of Pašali?. Edited June 16, 20179 yr by the special one

I was thinking the same about 14, can't remember his name but he killed so many attacks. Baker probs needs to be deeper, as you said ineffective playing more advanced. Hopefully Chalo turns it around and those two start to click. They have a shared interest in helping each other if theyre going to push for a place in the team
June 16, 20179 yr I thought it would be a chance for Chab to boss that midfield, with his Chelsea 1st team experience, he just went through the motions...
