Yeah I am pissed off at lamps' move.

But that only serves to reiterate my point.

I think at this point in time Courtois slightly better than Cech,

And due to their respective ages one on them will get better and the other will naturally regress.

It's about making the team better and playing the best you have.

I believe that Courtois should be #1

I don't think so, he was reliable as ever. Every keeper makes a few mistakes a season, ever Courtois.

He should have tipped that round lol Spanish keepers/keepers that have played in Spain for an extended period have a tendency to go for the spectacular he needs to cut that sh*t out quick

Maybe I'm being picky, but Zouma's reaction to that cross was very slow.

You're actually right. I have said in the past that Courtois tends to push the ball back into the danger area instead of pushing it to the side or out for a corner. This is one of the abilities i think Cech is better that than Courtois. When Cech makes a save, he makes sure he pushes it away from the danger area.

He's such a young pup though. So much time for improvement. Will be 10 years before he hits his peak. Scary.

Cech still has a good 3-4 years left in him. I know realistically we need to go for the keeper with 10-15 years left in him, but Cech has been such a great player for us, I don't want to see him go as well. Plus Courtois may be a very good keeper, but with the stuff he's said in the past, I can't help but feel he won't be particularly loyal to us, especially if a big bid from say Real Madrid came in.

How do you know he won't be though? He's never been here to be loyal to us remember. He's not been given the chance to bond with our club or support.

I think it's very rash to question his loyalty when in reality theres nothing to warrant it.

It's just a feeling. He's been quite outspoken in the media while away, something we've seen in several other Belgians, both of whom have subsequently left. I'm not basing it on anything concrete, I just get the sense that it could happen with him.

Well he did say he woudln't be content being a bench warmer. I'd say Jose is probably telling him, lets see what happens in pre season and then play with the both of them.

Has Courtious signed a new deal yet? If not, it would be dangerous to sell Cech while Courtious only has 2 years left on his deal.

That was a magnificent save against Breman.  He also managed to recover from it amazingly quickly to be in position to collect the rebound.  Gonna be interesting to see how that position pans out this season.
