November 1, 201510 yr bloody hell he was one of the shining lights a few weeks ago and people couldn't wait for him to return, he comes back and now people are slating him. oscar is as good as most when he's on top form. oscar is one of the last players who should be getting slated considering his desire to play for the club. there is a defence that's leaking, a pivot that's god awful and a striker that can't hit a barn door, oh and our best player according to many has gone into hiding, and yet oscar is the one with fingers pointed at him Sorry I don't ever remember him being a shining light. This was meant to be his season, now that the excuse of tiredness and playing over the summer does not apply. He is certainly not 'as good as most' when on top form. I agree there are lots of players to blame, hence why i said its not solely him. The difference with other players is I know they are capable of producing consistent World Class performances. With Oscar I literally doubt that he has the ability to be good enough for us.
November 1, 201510 yr I like him, but he just hasn't progressed. Basically his best moment ina Chelsea shirt was when he burst onto the scene against Juventus, everything since then has failed to live up to that moment. Maybe under a different manager, with more freedom and less desensive responsibility he cold flourish, but I just don't know. I'd hate to see us sell him and then he become another De Bruyne and rip it up elsewhere.

November 1, 201510 yr There was always the excuse that Oscar needed a rest from playing too much football. Now he must be judged like any other player. This was supposed to be his break out season but truth is he hasn't really kicked on since Mata was sold. He has flashes of genuine talent but it's all too brief and he'll disappear for long stretches. He's no Lampard - the player he was probably being groomed to replace long term. I just don't think he's suited physically for this league. He might do well abroad in a lower tempo environment. But the pace at which the Premiership is played just seems too much for him.
November 1, 201510 yr So that's more player's we'll need to buy? My oh my with the amount of players that we need to sell it seems like we'll spend 250m odd for the next season Looking forward to that
November 1, 201510 yr He's not even the player that joined us 3 seasons ago, not sure what happened to him. I'm sure he will turn out to be the best No10 in Italy if we let him go to Juventus. At the end of last season, we were boasting about we have a team for the next 5 years with players like Hazard, Willian, Oscar, Azpi.. Now it look like we need a new team and manager.

November 11, 201510 yr For the quoted price might be worth considering : http://weaintgotnohistory.sbnation.com/2015/11/11/9711538/juventus-looking-to-buy-brazilian-midfielder-from-chelsea-again-report
November 11, 201510 yr Juventus is a weird team. They paid pretty good money for both dybala and sandro, however, neither start for allegri.

November 11, 201510 yr Allegri likes to integrate them in slowly, takes the pressure off them Huh... imagine that.
November 11, 201510 yr Long standing rumour, could finally happen in the summer if a major squad overhaul does happen.
November 12, 201510 yr I think it's a great idea. A Brazilian fire sale including Ramires, Willian and Oscar could potentially bring in just under £100 million for the club.Throw in Piazon as a free. They won't have a choice.

November 12, 201510 yr Mourinho is not a fan, so if Jose is staying, Oscar is going He was at one point though. He sold Mata (a far better player) so Oscar could be his no 10. This season is the first indication he has lost patience with Oscars inconsistency.
November 12, 201510 yr He was at one point though. He sold Mata (a far better player) so Oscar could be his no 10. This season is the first indication he has lost patience with Oscars inconsistency. Perhaps, but he still felt the need to bring in Cesc at the beginning of last year... I've never shared the same thoughts as most in that Jose sold Mata because he had Oscar for that position, I think it's deeper than that. For what ever reason now though, I think Mourinho would prefer to play the out of form creative types than go with play Oscar
November 12, 201510 yr I think José just wasnt a fan and that caused Mata to want out. Oscar, despite having plenty of rest this summer, looks exactly like the player he did when he came here. Very talented but only shows up in glimpses and overall he is a very underwhelming player. He might do better in Italy and for the quoted price Id love to get an upgrade in
November 12, 201510 yr He'll be a great fit in Italy..... and the complaints will start coming in that Jose sold him
November 12, 201510 yr RLC.... Musonda... Boga.... move Hazard inside and play Traore or Kenedy on the left We're apparently in for another Brazilian AM at Benfica as well Edited November 12, 201510 yr by TheChelseaBlues
November 12, 201510 yr He'll be a great fit in Italy..... and the complaints will start coming in that Jose sold him If Oscar couldnt get on the pitch that dig might be valid, hes been given plenty of time and it just hasnt happened for him and I doubt it ever will. Dont think anyone would complain if he did well in Italy
