Sure, Schurrle had some shockers and didn't have his best period this season, but he did score some very crucial goals during his time with us - I saw them!! 

 

But he also had the benefit of a full pre-season before he started with us and managed to get a decent run in the team at the start of last season despite not being that impressive. 

 

FC bought up the stats to have a pop at him (unnecessarily in my opinion) so it's not surprising someone might focus on them in response.

 

My whole point is that Cuadrado should be given time. He's been brought in at an awkward time and it's a little unfair to judge him just on that.

We really need a winger this summer, if Cuadrado dosen't improve we are left with just Hazard and Willian, unless we play Remy, Ramires and Oscar out of position.

We all know how brilliant Oscar can be. The problem with his brilliance is the inconsistency that comes with it. It's incredibly frustrating to watch but Jose has said that next season can be for Oscar like this season was for Hazard. The point is , everyone knows he can get better. However, I Wouldn't be overly surprised if he was traded over summer - not that I'd agree with that.

We've done great transfer business the last couple of years. I very much doubt we are going to sell Oscar for as little as 9million.

I wouldn't worry too much about this particular rumour.

Definitely one of the dumbest transfer rumours I've ever read. No chance Oscar, a 23 year old Brazilian international with incredible potential who's on contract with us till 2019, goes for anything less than the 30-35 million range, not after some of the money we've gotten for the likes of Schurrle, Lukaku, Luiz etc.

Maybe Juve think if they start at 9 million they'll trick us into selling him for 15. Brilliant negotiating tactics if you think about it. Sort of the opposite of the Ed Woodward purchase approach, where he starts at 50 million for every player and then pats himself on the back for bringing it down to 30. This is how they think it'll go:

9m?? that really is having a giraffe. We paid 20 odd for him when he was playing in the brazilian league and now after 3 seasons of premier league football. Ermmm maybe it should be 29 or 39.

No chance we sell, Jose has already stated he will get a good rest over the summer and after a full pre-season he expects us to see the best of Oscar, I really dont get all the Oscar hate the guy is obviously world class and will get more consistent as he gets older and im extremely excited to see what he can come up with next season, the kid is 23 he will only get better.

Oscar has a part to play in our future as well. I'd think he can be very valuable in our chase for CL glory next term.

Hope we sell him, but that 9m bid is a joke. Such a joke that i think it's completely made up. I think we should accept anything over 20m.
