It's not that impossible, he sold RVP to United so you never know. The fact that Jose's no longer with us makes it even more plausible.

I agree with your statement, and I really wish people would take the psychology of players and their personal lives into consideration more often. There's so much to be understood about so-called 'bizarre' deals or bad patches of form, and that understanding comes from empathy of that player's situation. As a lot of people would say; footballers are humans too. 

Can't a guy working for a huge multi-national get offered a job with more money in a start-up and pioneer a movement?

Seems like a done deal.. good business for us and no judgement on personal level in this case.. everybody is a winner in this deal..

The point is to test the resolve and destruct the player but to be honest,he is one of the best players in the world and playing in a three with hazard and costa would be scary, Griezman is the only other player I can think of that takes us up a level. Beyond that you are looking for that bit of luck on a player that it didn't quite work out for, perhaps the boy Lucas at PSG for example
