November 18, 20169 yr Sell him, Mikel. Let go off Iva, JT and replace them with musonda, Pasalic, Aina, Andreas. And I think we would have had a great re-building, given that we get top4 this seasonSorry bro, I will still keep Terry next season.

But the folk who argued he was as good, if not better than Coutinho have gone very quiet of late!! Whilst I wouldn't mind if Oscar stays or goes he is still better than Coutinho and De Bruyne when it comes to games that actually matter a similar aguement can be made for Ozil, when the chips are down these players go missing. Oscar is by no means one of the best players in the world but he is still a very good player and would start in all but a handful of teams. Edited November 18, 20169 yr by PedroMendez

November 19, 20169 yr Sad it didn't work out for him. He has flashes of brilliance but for the most part he was poor overall. Won't miss him f he goes but hope he goes on to succeed elsewhere. Maybe somewhere like Spain would suit him.

I can only imagine you are jesting as Oscar is clearly not better than any of the players you mention.

Your rep suggests to me you are not a troll and are a very good poster but this is just ludicrous.

I would have Coutinho and KDB over Oscar and Willian any day.

In 2014/15 I would say he was still superior to Coutinho, but Coutinho has improved greatly since while Oscar has regressed.
November 20, 20169 yr So the Oscar subject continues! we should sell him long time ago when we had chance to get decent money. Now I think China is an option but I don't think he wants to go there and I don't blame him. people were making excuses for this guy since day one. First there was injury excuse, then woldcup excuse, then his sister excuse and so on. I even don't remember most of those excuses - there were so many of them. Im fed up with "let's give him another season" line. i can't believe we let Mata go over him.

But if it means lesser game time for either Andreas/Zouma, then I would not do it. Also, currently, top of the table. If we win the league (fingers crossed and hoping for the best), then I feel JT should retire of his own accord and go on a high.
November 26, 20169 yr Sorry gor the ling wait vefore redponding have been very busy of late. There was obviously a hint of jokery in my last comment and Oscar isn't really suited to our current formation and if a decent offer comes in I don't think we should say no. However If Conte were to ever want to switch to a 3-5-2 he would become a very useful person to have in the squad again and he is by no means a bad player. Whilst he isn't on the same level as De Bruyne, Ozil and an on form Coutinho (I very much imagine Coutinho will fade again soon he seems very Arsenal like when it comes to form over a whole season). He is still decent and will always give 100% which is why I don't really get some of the over the top hatred of the player. He is by no means world class and I imagine that's where the frustration comes from as a lot us would have thought that was what he was going to be but better the less he is still one of the better 10s in the league and IMO is the better of those on the Barkley Erikson Sigurdson level of 10s in the league.
December 4, 20169 yr he's gone from looking like a 15 year old lesbian to pablo escobar's meanest thug with just one porn stache
