I'd get a top class CB then add depth.   Wont happen but for example van Dijk if his clause is active in Jan, Nainggolan, and i'd slap a cheeky one in for Isco

Likelihood is we go to Serie A and end with Rudiger, Brozovic./Bonaventura, and someone like Perisic

Crazy. If this is true then there is no way we say no to it. At this moment, i don't even think he is worth £20 million, so to get over £50 million for him would be fantastic.

Moving to play in China at 25 is throwing your career down the drain, great business for us though.

If true, it would be a phenomenal waste of talent, but that is a truly ludicrous amount of money. Assuming we are to stick with the same system, there are areas of our squad which are clearly in need of an upgrade (which £50m+ would make possible), and there is currently no place in which Oscar is a particularly comfortable fit.

If he is to leave, it will be with my thanks, my gratitude, and no small amount of wistful sadness at the thought of what might have been.

i never thought oscar would leave for china tbh. however, if the rumours of him being on 350k if he moves there are true, i don't think anyone can blame him considering he has a young family to provide for in this short career. in 3 years he could easily move back to europe or go home to brazil with a nice chunk of change.

I get your point, but I can blame him. He could play in Italy, Spain or Germany, all top leagues. Instead in the prime of his career, he's going to play in a joke league, fade in to obscurity and probably lose his place in the Brazilian squad, just because he'll be rich, doesn't mean he isn't throwing his career away.

This is the best off field news we had all season if Oscar is going on that sort of money.

I don't blame him for taking the money, most of us would take a dead end job that triple of our pay. Brazil picks players from the Chinese league, so his international career is still alive.

If there is any substance in the news I'll be really upset to see him leave, always had a soft spot for him. Always thought he possessed more potential than Coutinho but in the end inconsistency cost him his place in the team hence he has taken an opportunity to make a quick buck in China.

Sounds a great deal for us, I'd always had high hopes for Oscar and sad to see him go if true, although for that kind of money, I don't blame the club or Oscar, get the funk in, although that said, whoever we target to replace him, has also gone up in price. The Italians and Spaniards are always onto whacking on extra to transfer fees, attempting to extract a share of the EPL telly and transfer money slushing around.
