Eden Hazard - Chelsea Legend

He's actually having one of his worst seasons in a Chelsea shirt for me, I think he's been quite poor in a lot of games recently.

I think the opposite personally. I never agreed with the people who said we were so reliant on him in the past, we had a lot of game changers in the team, but we are so reliant on him this season and pretty much every game we win depends on Hazard having a good game. It's got to the point where we struggle to create anything and win a single game if Hazard is slightly off.

I'm impressed that Hazard is playing as well as has been this season. His broken ankle killed any chance of having a pre-season with us and his first month and half of the season was all about getting him up to match fitness again. He's a month and a half behind the most of the players in the league and he's still been one of the best players.

I'm excited for him, why should he waste his most important years at a club with zero aspiration?

Sometimes if you love someone, but you know they can do better, you should set them free.

Don't get me wrong Hazard hasn't been poor overall, he's still been one of our best players. But by Hazard's standards this isn't a good Hazard we've been seeing. He's still overdoing it with the flicks, his decision making in front of goal has been wasteful and I think he's only been just as poor as those around him have. I've seen better from Hazard is what I'm saying, sadly I think he's a bit fed up.

I think anyone would get fed up if they had Bakaf**kingjoko playing next to them...

Are you a Hazard fan or a Chelsea fan?

Seems similar to when people support a manager over the wellbeing of the club. *cough* Mourinho V.II *cough*

No, sir, just pointing out how good he would be there with the supporting cast he'd play with. Nobody said anything about getting excited.

Ah, I was only messing. Kind of..

I’d be elated if he did sign a new contract and he would be our signing of the season but I don’t think he will. His form hasn’t been terrible, he’s just had no one, bar the recent form of Willian, to help him. I’d be gutted if he chose to go but could hardly blame him, that’s nothing against the club, him or anyone. He’s won the league and unless by some miracle we acquire world class signings in the Summer he’ll never win the CL with us.

With the World Cup in the Summer this contract saga will run on and on and on. If he does intend to sign then you have to ask what the hold up is.

Yeah but it's getting unusual how much you're hyping these possibilities.

Hazard said on video that he'll never leave Chelsea to a fan next to KDB, Ozil signed a contract for Arsenal, anything is possible. Him leaving isn't a given, just because a drunkard gambler like Paul Merson says he's definitely gone next season doesn't mean anything, Madrid has been sinking in power anyway.

And? Just getting to the point. If he stays at Chelsea, great. If he goes, no surprise. Oh he said to a fan he is staying. All sorted then eh. In the age of technology, it was probably a smart move from Eden to say that. I Remember CR7 saying in a interview after a Champions League Final he was staying at United. Drinking gambler. Stella guy you.

Anything else while I'm here?

Yeah it's all absolute bullsh*t. I'm extremely surprised people are taking his comment serious. I mean, what did you expect him to say? Actually, I'm f**king off and leaving Chelsea?

I didn't once claim that Hazard would stay just because he said he's staying, I said there is a big possibility he's staying.

My point was that you're overly excited at the prospect of Hazard going to Madrid, I've probably seen you praise our rivals and rival players more than you have this club and clubs players.

You've said that bullsh*t line before. Move on. Ain't going to explain again. You can read.

Well maybe if they pulled their finger out of their ass I would praise them. If a player, no matter who he is playing for, is playing lights out, respect to him. I don't hate on players cos they play for other teams. Thats just sad.

Yeah, that's fine and all but I can't be the only person who finds these bottom two posts a bit odd. If I was so sure Hazard wasn't signing a new contract I certainly wouldn't be looking at it like this.

There is no way he's signing a new deal and staying at Chelsea until he's 30. He's in the prime of his career now and Real is perfect for him. They like a game changer of a player at Real, and Eddie fits the bill. He's carries Chelsea a lot of the time, and, well I think he's back had just about enough. As much as you want to dream he's staying, this is his last season at Chelsea. It's going to be sad, but it all makes perfect sense for Eden. I could imagine the chat with manager, Eden with a tear in his eye saying, "Boss, I think it's time for a change." I'm sure deep down he loves Chelsea and would want to stay, but in his heart he knows it's time to move on.

On 30/01/2018 at 13:26, Famous CFC said:

Absolutely. Eden would be lethal at Real with the supporting cast around. Imagine receiving balls from, Isco, Kroos, Modric, and linking up with CR7 and Marcelo. Unfortunately it's a massive step up from Chelsea in every way.

Even so, he's already at a great competitive Premier League side. Neymar wasn't so happy at Barcelona, Madrid aren't looking so great lately are they, they're intimidated by PSG & City. Is going to the Spanish league the same as it was when Ronaldo went to Madrid? I don't think so, I think it's only a matter of time for when Barcelona & Madrid aren't attracting every top talent.

Not sure if this is what you mean but are you saying Neymar left because La Liga wasn't competitive?

And? You are just going round the houses now. If you fetch up anymore Hazard posts I made, let us know.

Also it would help if he wasn't being forced to play as the striker. LThe 0-3 against Bournemouth was the 7th time he was playing that position.

And the first one that we lost, won 5, drew 1 as far as I remember.

Batman has 11 starts this season and 13 goals but does anyone believe he has been brilliant? You wouldn't if you watch him for the minutes he has played.

When you watch some of the games it's been clear a forward was missing and it's been frustrating to watch but the result is all that matters so it glosses over it.

It 2 loses including the Arsenal game.

OK - two losses, one smashed by Bournemouth, a sh*t day at the office, the other beaten by two outrageously lucky deflections when one of the main elements of the front three was taken off injured to be replaced by a grossly unfit Barkley, playing out of position.

I'm not saying I like having no striker, just that the formation when all three are fit and on form is a high-scoring formation that we have won far more than we have lost with.  Ideally I'd have liked Morata to be a little more robust and for Batshuayi to have shown much more of a football players ability to assist the team more than being just a goal-poacher.  Sadly, neither is the case, so the front three fast interplay works well for us in most cases.

Players are not irreplaceable. Clubs lose their best players, it happens. I think if he did leave we've had the best of him anyway. The only issue would be if we used the money we got from him smartly.

If he does leave, and the possibilities are very high, Asensio as part of the deal would soften the blow somewhat.

If Eden does leave Chelsea, which I hope does not happen, then, as Enigma said above, I hope we spend the money we get for him well, just like Tottenham did with the Gareth Bale money.

Am I hinting sarcasm there? Didn't Spurs get slated for blowing the Bale money on a load of old sh*te?
