Cech: 10                - One of the worlds best, saved us several times this season.

Azpilicueta: 7         - Good debut season, needs to work a bit on defensive positioning.

Terry: 6                 - Some good games, injury and fitness has ruined his season though.

Cahill: 7                 - Last three games sums up his season, two good ones and one bad.

Ivanovic: 8             - 8 goals this season, a few mistakes, but a good season for him.

Luiz: 9.5                 - Our best defender this season, versitile and improved alot.

A.Cole: 8.5             -The best left back in england, missed him alot when Bertrand was playing

Bertrand: 5            - Very limited going forward, was ok at defending though.

Mikel: 6                  - Another limited player, but works in combination with Ramires.

Ramires: 7             - Gives us an edge with his stamina in CM, some bad performances as RW.

Lampard: 8.5         - Started the season as squad player, few bad games and many great ones.

Mata: 10                - Our Best player this season.

Hazard: 9.5            - Worth every £ we paid for him, my pick for next seasons player of the year.

Oscar: 7.5              - Great vision and passing, only need a bit more muscles to improve.

Moses: 5                - A few good games, but is very limited compared to Hazard,Mata and Oscar.

Marin: 2                  - Not good enough for Chelsea in addition to having big injury problems.

Torres: 5.5             - He has been ok the last two games, but many bad games this season.

Ba: 5                      - Had a great start, but became second choice to Torres in the end.

I still can't believe that our 17(18) players have played the majority of 69 games this season + international duty.

Cech: 9.2

Azpilicueta: 8.4

Terry: 6

Cahill: 7.2

Ivanovic: 7.7

Luiz: 9.2

A.Cole: 8.5

Bertrand: 6

Mikel:

Ramires: 8.4

Lampard: 8

Mata: 9.7

Hazard: 9.5

Oscar: 8.2

Moses: 7.2

Marin: 3

Torres: 4

Ba: 6

Cech: 8 - Very good season for the big man between the sticks, questionable distribution aside he consistently comes up with big saves.

Turnbull: na - Did Ross get on the pitch at all? Can't remember him playing since the post FA Cup booze up at Anfield.

Hilario: na - As per the above.

Dave: 7 - Decent season, integrated fairly quickly under Benitez and has established himself as a first team regular. Still young enough to suggest that he will improve.

Brana: 7 - Again, decent season all up, he's had his bad moments but what player hasn't.

Ferreira: 10 - No explanation necessary, Paulo is practically perfect in every way.

Cahill: 7 - Probably our most consistent centre half this season, commanding performances in several big games but a few howlers spring to mind as well. (Man City away?)

Terry: 6 - A bit hard to judge JT's season, given that he's been injured for a large chunk of it and out of favour with the manager.

Luiz: 8 - Defender? Midfielder? Either way, he's come on leaps and bounds and has contributed some stunning goals.

Ash: 7 - Consistent season for Ash, to be expected. Probably the only outfield player who doesn't really have a challenger to his position, outside of the attacking midfield triumvirate.

Berty: 6 - Absent for the majority of the season, can't really be blamed with Ash ahead of him though.

Mikel: 6 - Some decent games, some howlers, a fair to middling player who doesn't really deserve the hate he gets from some quarters, but arguably doesn't deserve to be starting either.

Ramires: 7.5 - My first decimal point! We might as well call him legs, his energy in midfield has shone through all season but he needs to work on his tackling and passing.

Super Frank: 8 - Fantastic season for Frank, frozen out at times but has taken his opportunities well. Still not entirely suited to a deep lying role, certainly not without a competent DM alongside him, but his goals have been vital all the same.

Moses: 6.5: Some decent performances, never going to be anything more than a squad player, though. An upgrade on Kalou? Tough to argue.

Oscar: 7.5: Very solid début season, still big questions over whether or not he'll be a deep lying player long term but Jose is the man to answer that. Deceptively good at the dirty work given his whippet like stature.

Mata: 9 - Player of the year award was well deserved, our most consistent performer and a joy to watch.

Hazard: 8.5 - Unplayable at times with his direct running, went missing for a period but has stormed back into form late on. The most promising player on the books, without a shadow of a doubt.

Marin: na - Hardly fair to rate him, injury kept him from contention under Robbie and he was hardly going to get a look in under Rafa.

Torres: 6 - Comes up with goals in the cups from time to time, but a shadow of his former self and his production in the league has been very poor.

Ba: 6 - Fair to middling, exploded onto the scene with a few early goals but reverted to type eventually, certainly not a solution long term at centre forward and looks lost at times.

Cech: 9                - Solid!

Azpilicueta: 7         - Impressed!

Terry: 5                 - A poor season by Terry's standards ... obviously injuries taken its toll.

Cahill: 6.5                 - Not bad.

Ivanovic: 7             - A good season.

Luiz: 9                   - World class, at times.

A.Cole: 6               - Consistent.

Bertrand:            - Disappointing for me ...

Mikel:                 - Not convinced.

Ramires: 6             - Brilliant one game ... erratic the next ...

Lampard: 7            - Legend! ... not quite the Lamps of old ... but still Essential, at times!

Mata:                 - World class player!

Hazard: 8.5            - World class, at times.

Oscar:                - Impressed.

Moses: 4                - Underwhelmed.

Marin: 2                  - Too light-weight for the Premier League. Poor buy.

Torres: 4                - Brill' recent form. However, poor for most of the season.

Ba: 4                      - Bright start then faded ...

Kinda tricky to allocate a number that sums up a player's entire season. Looking at each one individually, I'm happy with the ratings I've given, could probably write a page on why I felt each number was right, then I look at it as a group and I see Terry & Torres both have 6, which isn't quite right.

Also - only 17 players made a big enough contribution to warrant a season-rating. 17!! Shows how thin our squad is...

Disagree with Cole and Bertrand, you say Bertrand is limited going forward but not Cole? Bertrand offers more going forward than Cole. And i didn't think we missed Cole as much as i thought we would, when Ryan came into the team at LB i thought he did pretty well.

Cech: 9 - Excellent as usual and a model pro. Can't believe people are wanting him replaced by Courtois.

Azpilicueta: 7 - Settled well. Needs to work on the crossing and not giving away pens!

Terry: 7 - Not bad at all for someone who wasn't in favour with the fat one. His game / goal ratio is fantastic

Cahill: 7  - Needs to be more consistent. When he's on his game, he's fantastic.

Ivanovic: 8 -  Big Brana. What more can you say about this man? Excellent season again.

Luiz: 9 - Improved immensely this season. A key player for us. Rafa has improved him.

A.Cole: 8 - Another good season for Cole. We're just too used to it now.

Bertrand: 6 - Needs to work on his defending. Too many times he's been beaten or caught up the pitch.

Mikel: 4 - Very frustrating player. Lacks the drive and aggression. a 7/10 on a good day but too inconsistent.                 .

Ramires: 8 - Fantastic work rate. Opens the game a bit.

Lampard: 8 - Legend. A role model for anyone. Excellent season, lots of goals. Feel he's getting better in his deeper role.

Mata: 9 - The Special Juan. Legends say his beard has magical powers. 20+ goals and 36 assists. You be the judge.

Hazard: 9 - What a fantastic first season. Legend in the making. Hope he proves his loyalty.

Oscar:  - A solid first season. He will only improve. Done exellently well, especially with the amount of games he's played this season (89?)

Moses: 6 - A good rotation option. Clearly loves playing for us. Think the games have caught up with him.

Marin: 3 - Was great in pre-season. Didn't get the game time to prove his worth. His fitness is awful.

Torres: 6 - 22 goals this season but only a handful of them meant something. Needs to move on this summer.

Ba: 6 - Very limited. Not sure of his quality.

I don't understand people giving Azpilicueta an 8. He has made a lot of mistakes recently. I would say 6.5 at best for him.

Our best players in order;

Mata 10 - immense, despite playing both the Euros and Olympics last summer.

Cech 9 - Back to his best

Cole 9 - Makes things look easy

Luiz 8 - Improved massively. Still not sure where i prefer him to play.

Lampard 8 - Legend

Ivanovic 8 - Arguably our most valuable defender

Hazard 8 - I still think can improve actually

Ramires 7  - Effective, but not as good as year before

Terry 7 - Scored a fair few goals and still a rock when he has actually played

Cahill 7 - Would still like to see him paired with Terry next season. Ivanovic on the right, Luiz centre mid.

Oscar 7 - Premier performances i would say a 6, but excelled at times. Not as effective as i had of hoped, but is young and can only improve

Azpilicueta 6.5 - I just don't like him, doesn't look like a footballer to me, looks too clean cut

Torres 6 - Let's hope we can get rid of him as im tired of hoping he turns into the world class striker he once was.

Ba 6 - Can't make my mind up, i don't really see him as a Chelsea player

Moses 6 - Effective at times. Sort of player that needs to play every week in my eyes.

Bertrand 5 - So so, not in the same league as Mr Cole, and not sure we should rely on him being the replacement.

Mikel 4 - Waste of space, one of my least faviourite players of all time. Would love to wake up one day and see we have sold him.

Marin 2 - Has done nothing, although barely had a chance.

Surely we need to bring back Kevin De Bruyne who has been smashing them in for Werder Bremen this season, as well as Lukaku.

Get rid of Mikel, Marin, Torres etc

Mata 9.5 (shockingly good, must have won about a dozen games on his own. Quite possibly the best player in the league, it is frightening to think how good he might become)

Hazard 9 (outstanding first season, undoubtedly world class. His ability to beat his man, his vision, work rate and technique all suggest to me that he will become one of the best players in the world. He has also formed a very encouraging understanding with Mata)

Cech 9 (absolutely excellent throughout and has been showing real leadership qualities - top man, glad to see him get a new lease of life, long may it  continue)

Azpilicueta 8 (looks like an excellent acquisition, has an absurd amount of energy and has earned his place in the starting XI.)

Oscar 7.5 (impressive first season, I think he will improve when he has settled into one position as he's clearly not a winger - also needs to work on his first touch)

Ivanovic 7.5 (he is beginning to look a little slow for the right back role and had a couple of mares at centre back but his form improved towards the end of the season (as it should) and gets another half a point for THAT header. His attacking play has improved too - Luiz could learn from watching Ivanovic's decision-making when going forward)

Cole 7 (still unquestionably our best full-back, that said this was probably his worst season. Still miles better than Bertrand)

Cahill 7 (mostly solid, a couple of very poor games but also a couple of brick wall performances)

Ramires 7 (inconsistent but unplayable at times - similarly he needs to become more consistent in his passing too)

Lampard 7 (delighted to see him break the record, his goals were a real source of joy for the fans. Let's not kid ourselves though - this was comfortably his worst season)

Mikel 7 (solid for the most part, excellent at times. Didn't notice any significant improvement on last season - I'm sure José will put that right)

Luiz 7 (it's hard to judge this one - at times he is magical and a matchwinner however he is way below standard defensively too often for my liking)

Terry 7 (mostly conspicuous in his absence and boy did we miss him. Still our best centre back despite looking shaky upon returning from injury, still somehow managed to score five goals)

Moses 6.5 (encouraging first season, he hasn't quite recaptured his Wigan form though)

Bertrand 6.5 (he started and ended well but didn't look solid at all for much of the season)

Ba 6.5 (didn't really get a chance to get going, I look forward to seeing what he can do when properly settled in and Torres is out of the way)

Benayoun 5.5 (didn't feature much but pretty anonymous when he did)

Torres 5 (clearly way below standard and needs to be replaced as soon as possible - glad to see him get some sort of redemption against Benfica)

Others:

Hilario n/a (don't think he played - would probably have opted for him over Turnbull to be honest)

Sturridge 6 (did reasonably well in the little time that he got - certainly looked more of a threat than Torres at times)

Ferreira 6 (started once as emergency left back and did a job - great player, seems to be loved by just about everyone)

Marin 5.5 (seemed to be quite good at corners, I guess the powers that be were underwhelmed)

Turnbull 5 (not good enough)

Romeu 6 (don't remember him playing except in the 5-4, hope he can beat what are clearly some serious injury problems)

Meireles 6 (played very well once next to Mikel against Newcastle)

Cech - 8 - Another very good season for out number 1, no need for Courtois just yet.

Turnbull - 2 - Poor when asked to play when Cech is injured. Need's to be replaced next season in my opinion.

Azpilicueta - 7 - A very good start to his Chelsea career, decent going forward and decent at defending, we may finally have a great RB.

Ferreira - 3 - Hardly played so i can't really give him a higher rating.

Cole - 7 - Solid season from Cole again, didn't see much attacking from him this season but his defending is still top notch.

Bertrand - 6 - More progress made from Bertrand. He has had a solid season and has done well when Cole is left out / injured.

Ivanovic - 6 - An up and down season for Ivanovic this season, one week he looks great the next he looks average,a bit of consistency is what is needed

Cahill - 6 - Same as Ivanovic, has the ability to put in some great performances but has been a bit too inconsistent this season.

Terry - 5 - A season to forget for our captain. A season full of injuries, hopefully next season we see JT back at his best.

Luiz - 7 - Has got better and better as the season has gone on. He has become one of out most influential players and i hope to see more of him at DM.

Ake - 4 - Done well when asked to play, has a bright future. Low mark only given because he has only played 6 games so far.

Mikel - 4 - Another poor season for Mikel. I think we look a 100x better when he doesn't play and in my opinion his time at Chelsea is up.

Romeu - 4 - Looked ok before getting his injury, hopefully we see more of him next season.

Ramires - 6 - If it wasn't for his goal contribution he would only get a 5. He started the season very poorly but has improved in the last 2 months.

Lampard - 7 - Scored plenty of goals again this season and finally broke the goalscoring record against Villa, decent season from Lampard.

Benayoun - 1 - Crap, done nothing at all when played, Marin would have done a better job. Will no doubt leave at the end of the season.

Marin - 3 - Oh boy, what a frustrating season for Marin. Injured for the first quarter of the season then we barely seen anything of him. Could leave.

Oscar - 7 - Faded in the last 2 or 3 months but has had a very good first season for the club.

Mata - 9 - What a player, has got goals and an amazing amount of assists this season, would have got 10 but has faded in the last month. Brilliant.

Hazard - 8 - What a first season from Hazard, well worth the money and this is just his first season, could become one of the best in the world.

Moses - 6 - A decent first season for Moses, if he becomes a bit more consistent he could become an important squad player.

Piazon - Only played a few games for us before going on loan so i can't really rate him.

Sturridge - 5 - Did ok before we sold him, how he never got a run of games as our main striker i will never know.

Ba - 5 - Looked good in the F.A cup but in the league has missed a lot of chances, in the long run i think he will do ok.

Torres - 6 - Another frustrating season watching Torres but has been very good in the Europa league.

Cech: 8 - Another fine season.

Azpilicueta: 8 - Excellent signing. Played a ridiculous number of games in a short timeframe. Tailed off in recent weeks.

Terry: 7 -  Not the player he was but still our best defender, defensive organiser and still a goal threat.

Cahill: 7  - Solid overall and some fantastic last ditch tackles.

Luiz: 7 - Scored some quality goals and a great character, but still too erratic, in defence or midfield.

Ivanovic: 7 -  Like Luiz, some dodgy moments in defence but some important goals and he's proper Chels.

A.Cole: 7 - Another good season.

Bertrand: 6 - Decent back up for Cole. Often played out of position.

Mikel: 6 - Both the criticism and adulation of him is OTT. He and Ramires were our most effective midfield pairing so he must be doing something right.

Ramires: 7 - Dipped a bit on past seasons but still highly effective when used correctly.

Lampard: 8 - Not the undroppable force he was but still an asset and still scores a ridiculous number of goals. Gets an extra point for cementing his legend with the goalscoring record.

Mata: 10 - How lucky we are to have him.

Hazard: 9 - And him.

Oscar: - Excellent first season and he'll only get better. We're lucky to have him too.

Moses: 6 - Good squad player, another goal threat and useful backup to the Three Amigos.

Marin: 4 - Rarely seen but didn't impress the few times he was.

Benayoun: 5 - Average, useful for giving Mata et al a rest in EL games.

Torres: 6 - Some fine goals and a respectable goal return by his standards but still not the centre forward we need.

Ba: 7 - An improvement on Torres.

Disagree with Cole and Bertrand, you say Bertrand is limited going forward but not Cole? Bertrand offers more going forward than Cole. And i didn't think we missed Cole as much as i thought we would, when Ryan came into the team at LB i thought he did pretty well.

Not the original poster, but I agree with his ratings. I still think Cole's the best LB in the Premier League, Baines & Evra seem to get all the plaudits, but I think that's just down to everyone being so used to how good Cole is.

He's one of our best defenders, probably the best in a one-on-one situation, and I have to disagree with the Bertrand point; I think we looked considerably weaker defensively during his time in the team. Bertrand has got all of the attributes to be a good LB for us, and I'm sure he'll get more opportunities next season to stake his claim to be Cole's successor, but he's not there yet.

Cech- 8 - Very solid, positioning is amazing. It must have been difficult with an inconsistent center back pairing ahead of him. Best keeper in the league this season.

Turnbull- 3- A bit of joke really. Provides good entertainment

Azpilicueta- 7- Good first year, does the expected job of the full back. Doesn't exploit the space between the opposition center back and fullback like top class fullbacks do. Still a good season and will be a fixture for many years.

Terry- 5.5- Has made mistakes which has cost us points, but in my opinion we appear a much more solid outfit with him.

Cahill-5 - Not good enough for CFC in my opinion and goals conceded tend to be his fault. I am happy for him to be 4th choice.

Ivanoivic- 7 - Definitely a center back and has had a fairly solid season. Provided the stand out moment.

Luiz- 8- Developed into the player we know he can be. Still more to come. Is definitely a center back to me. Error ratio has plummeted.

Cole- 7 - A solid season and shows no sign of letting up. Struggled early on, but as Hazard matured his game, he received more cover.

Bertrand- 6 - Proved he is suitable back up for Cole, nothing more. I would be worried if he became first choice.

Ferreira- 5.5- Did the job when required but time to let go.

Mikel- 5 - A plodder. Does a job, but not well. I think he's a funny guy and should start in certain games. Is an unnecessary addition when we are playing teams who sit deep.

Ramires- 7- Boundless energy has been crucial in our fixture pile up. Has been utilised incorrectly at times and struggles to play alongside Lampard.

Lampard- 6.5- Broke the record yes, but not good enough to start in our 'best team'. Adds inbalance to the side and does not do enough defensive work for the position he is deployed in.

Ake- 6- Showed signs he has potential. Needs a loan move to the championship.

Romeu- 5- Needs to recover from injury problems. He probably would have played a lot under RB. Showed no signs that he will ever be more than a squad player.

Marin- 4- Looks weak and lost when played. His win % must be pretty low.

Yossi- 5- Is an acceptable player for the Europa League. Should not be touching a league game.

Oscar 7- Pretty good debut season. Has a tendency to go missing in games. Is not a RW and needs to establish best position.

Hazard 8.5- Improved as an all round footballer and has been fantastic. Will only improve.

Mata- 9.5- I don't give 10s

Moses- 6- Good cover for The Three Amigos. Was very good in the Europa League. A cup player for many years.

Torres- 6- Europa League saved his season. 8 League goals is pretty damming.

Ba- 6- Looks more of a threat than Torres and has done OK for a stop gap. Hopefully he can improve and become an Anelka figure, but he probably does not have enough natural ability for that.

Lukaku- 9- Only player out on loan I have seen enough of (I have watched Chalobah live like 3 times). 17 goals in what is essentially a debut season in the Premier League as a teenager is incredible. Bring him back.

P.S. I got a bit giddy with the Lukaku rating. I just have a lot of Lukaku loving!

I hate to be defending Torres, but I have no idea how Ba is getting higher scores than Torres by some people?

Have to agree with you mate, Ba was not up to stuff and I think we should get rid of him.  He wants too much time when he is on the ball and he doesn't have the ability or belief to get by defenders or score goals.  He showed that against Villa and Everton, really disappointed with the effort and goal scoring return he has given since his signing in January.

Torres 2

I think Ba has a role to play if he can accept he won't be starting a lot of games. Started his career at Chelsea brilliantly but tailed off. Similarly can't understand everyone here slagging off Bertrand, think he looks like a natural successor to Cole in all honesty.

I think people are a bit blinded by Torres's last month or two in the league. He has been shocking again this season to be honest.

I agree. When Ash was out of the team Ryan did a great job. Never let us down.

Ba and Torres combined for THREEE (3) league goals since January. Three!

Sturridge scored 11 since moving to Loserpool in January, and a hat trick against Fulham a fortnight ago

Lukaku scored a second half hat trick against Manure on Sunday.

Enough said. Bring back the Fridge
