..We have a real conundrum to decipher, if Jose wants a more direct attacking style, and continues with his 4321 and he wants to cut out the fancy dan pass, pass, pass congest the box walk it into the net perfect goal, there are going to be some unpleasant spillages of blood but for whom, if this is seen with an unbiased view what is our now strongest 3 attacking mids( To at least start the game).

lets go .....Willian... Oscar.... Hazard

Wiilian, pacey tricky and direct

Oscar, The Head up Ballack-esque playmaker

Hazard, the most fabulously talented player i have seen in the PL

Just 3 from how many,

Mata fabulous creative goal scorer creator, how can i leave him out..

De bruyne, another fantasticaly adept playmaker may challenge Oscar for the 10.

Shurrle, unknown but looks the business.

Moses, pacey and direct

Only my opinion, bring on the sh*t storm..proceed...

I think our best 3 are Mata, Oscar and Hazard until proven otherwise. Competition is going to be incredibly fierce, but it means we have so many options to change the game. I have a feeling that Moses may be on the way out, but obviously have nothing to back this up, he's just the weakest of the seven and two players for each position is more ideal. Everyone can come off the bench and change the game and I'd trust Mourinho more than any other to pick the right player at the right moment.

Different horses for different courses as they say.

The likes of Willian, Mata and KDB have the passing range and trickery to unlock stubborn defences.

Schurrle, Hazard and Moses have a more direct style that will work well on the counter attack, mostly away from home.

I think they're our three best, but I don't like them played together.  Invariably one of Mata or Oscar is wasted out wide.  I think Mata and Oscar should be in competition for the number 10 position, if Oscar isn't to be used in central midfield.  De Bryune, Hazard, Willian and Schurrle to compete for the wings, which makes sense really if you want 2 top players for each position.  I'm assuming Moses is going to be loaned out.  The depth and versatility we have now is incredible.  All of those players bring something different to the table.

Agree Castiel, Mata is playing catchup at the moment due to lack of playing time, but he should start, would love to see Essien at his best with Oscar alongside then Willian KDB and Hazard..

I think that's probably fair and I'd suggest Willian is probably the third choice for the centre spot as he's more suited to it, then De Bruyne. I feel Hazard likes to run at players more than control the tempo of the game, so is less good there than on the left.

Schurrle is the only one you can guarantee is second choice. And Mata will be second choice and heading out the door by next summer.

.. Not very supportive of either, Schurrle could be the next best thing from the Fatherland, got to give him time, and what do you know about Mata????

Ba and Moses to be sold/loaned

Schurrle can also play as a striker, hopefully we'll be playing a lot of games this season as long as were winning everyone will remain happy.

Not even going to try and work out what we're doing with our super seven, i'll leave that to the man that knows best (Jose).

My first choice right now would be Hazard - Oscar - De Bruyne

Out of all of our 'amigos' we now have I think hazard is the only one you can say 100% is first choice. De Bruyne to me looks class, pacey and strong and gifted on the ball. I liked Oscar last season but think he's upped his game this time round and he looks the business.

It's difficult for me to comment on Schurrle, but from what I've seen he looks quick and direct (perhaps similar to Moses but better infront of goal). As for Mata I love him, but fear Mourinho might see him as a bit of a luxury player. I think for Mata to be successful this year he has to be given a completely free role, but played alongside 2 wingers who are disciplined and do the tracking back that he might not be doing!

As for willian, I'm still in shock right now.

We're certainly a different chelsea to when we had Ballack, Drogba and Essien in his prime and looked to bulldoze teams at times!

Most German fans seem to agree £18m for Schurrle was a lot of money. He is good for sure, powerful, fast, good shot, versatile, but he isn't Germany's next big thing and isn't better than what we had last season. Mata is excellent but prefers to play at a slower pace than Jose likes, Jose can't get rid of Mata this summer as he respects us fans too much but Mata's importance will decline as the season goes on.

Mata has to play for me. So its Hazard - Mata - Willian.

There has been no sign that Jose intends to move Schurrle up front or Oscar deeper as some have suggested and I can't see it happening either.

Depth is important but that doesn't mean you stack more or less equally talented players into your strongest area. Just look at Madrid over the years. I trust Jose's man management skills, but even he has a job keeping everyone happy

Are people so paranoid with Mata because he was very average against Villa? He isn't completely match fit and I felt he got extra attention from Villa as he should.

But as many(all) of you I still always fear for worst because it is Chelsea and because this is a player that everybody loves.

We are spoilt for choice for the 3 spots which is good. But if we want to compete against the mancs we need depth in quality.

It's my fear that we lose a world class player because of this unnecessary signing. Losing one of Mata, Hazard, Oscar or KDB could be a mistake too far.

I think that's what makes Hazard one of our best players for the role behind the striker to be honest. His ability to find space is unrivalled and that trait is so much more valuable behind the striker rather than on the wings were space is almost always available anyway. His flicks and ability to run at players draws a lot of players attention and wins tons of free kicks, which is very useful when we face teams that park the bus. He's proven he can dictate the tempo and his ability to switch between that and running at players is extremely useful to keep opponents guessing. Everytime he's played behind the striker for us he has looked much better than out on the wings, he makes it look effortless and it looks like a natural position to him.

It'll be interesting to see how Jose mixes it up anyway.

His ability to find space is rivaled by Mata. I dunno, I think Hazard offers more starting wide and coming inside to find space.

Mata has this way of ghosting into space that even Hazard doesn't have.  A lot of his goals seem to leave the defenders around him bemused as to how he even ended up there.  Hazard has everything you want in a player coming in from wide, running at defences.

I wonder if the plan is to create 2 distinct groups of player to be used in different games. One is the clever and tricky trio of hazard/Oscar/mata the other being a much more direct of William/kdb/schurle. Against teams that sit deep defensively use the 3 tricky players, against teams that leave space behind the 3 direct ones. I don't really believe this by the way, but the options are enormous with this set of players. I actually think Jose will have seen just how hard it was on the 3 we had and realised we needed options we simply didnt have last season and has gone for his usual 2 players for every position. Seeing so many people lose there sh*t over this Willian transfer is quite amusing though. Never have we had such an amount of spoilt fans.
