I'm not losing patience but im more frustrated and worried.Its not just Mata playing that has frustrated me quite a few of Mourinho team selections have frustrated me.Like not playing Azpi at RB,continue to play Lampard and Bertrand just doesn't seem to get a chance despite playing really well away at Arsenal.

Jose is the one who runs training and sees the players everyday although surely Juan deserves a chance given the teams inconsistencies?

I understand we're going to get fans due to our success and I treat them the same as the oldies but to come up with this dross. 

 

We're 3rd in the table. Qualified for the next stage. Advanced stages in the league cup and you're losing patience with him? Just f**k off and never return. 

 

As a few have said on here.

 

Jog the f**k on. I hear City need more sh*t fans.

I only supported Chelsea throughout of my life..Im eaven season ticket holder..

 

You're a season ticket holder for an English club who you say you've supported for 10 years yet you can't even string a sentence together.

Anyway, I didn't see the "For not starting Mata" as the title is cut off on the forum index so my apologies for that.

I'm losing patience with Mata...for not being so outstanding in training that Jose has no choice.

we may be losing patience but we don't matter. Surely Roman is not thrilled with the results lately and I think everyone, no matter how long you have supported the club know that Roman doesn't have much patience. Mou has revitalized some players such as Terry but has also killed some like Mata. If Mata doesn't get playing time by January, there's no doubt in my mind he will leave. He wants to play in the WC and needs regular playing time to do so. He's too good to sit on the bench and not be rotated in after our players need rest. Using "tiredness" as an excuse at this level is not acceptable. We have players itching to play so why not use them?

What if we finish 2nd in the league this year, and win the Fa Cup with the squad Jose seems to be starting?  Couldn't that be argued a better result than last year with Mata starting all the time?

 

Seriously, the squad and the results the garner are what comes first.  If we were languishing in 10th and out of a Cup competition already, then yes I'd be worried.

 

Am I worried that Jaun will leave?  Yes, because he's a fantastic player.  but if he (and Luiz for that matter) are not part of the winning squad that Jose has in mind, but we win...then why worry?

You cannot argue with Mourinho when he selects a side to do a job and that side perform. All the time things are going well it's hard to question his decisions. But last night we were absolutely diabolical and the player who has without question been our best player for the past two seasons was on the bench and didn't get on. So Mourinho got it badly wrong last night and we can only hope that he learns from that.
