Schurrle for me, set up the first and scored the 2nd, it was routine from there.

 

Mistake on your part to allow voting for multiple options though, prepare for bulk Mikel votes.

Schurle likewise. The whole team were awesome, was great to see Oscar on top of his game again, luiz put a great performance in and really pleased to see salah get his debut goal. Gutted to see eto off early on, he's our best cf by a mile.

The Matic/Luiz combination won us the midfield early doors, Matic for me as he hardly put a foot wrong all match.

Torres played really well when he came on. Oscar motm for me, winning the important tackles that got us the first goals and scored and was generally all over the pitch.

Happy for Salah, he looked really good too, fast, tricksy.

Anyhoo I must dash, I'm busy in the pub / on various social networking sites ripping gooners to shreds. Only one team in London!!!!!

My choice as well   Great movement; good link up; goal; assist; work rate everything pretty much you could ask from an attacking midfielder. 

 

Already 7 goals in the League, our most lethal player after Hazard and Eto'o 

Really tough one for all the right reasons, I think I have to give it to Matic who with Luiz made it men against boys in the middle of the park and gave the gifted players plenty of time and space to do their stuff...would have loved to have seen Eto'o play the whole match and think he would have had another hat trick.

Luiz and Matic are brilliant together in DM.

 

Schurrle looks very very hungry, hitting form at the right time of the season, MOTM.

Just to fly in the opposite direction, I think it was that good of a team performance, I can think of only one person who's individual performance may have changed the result - Big Pete. He made a really top save at 0-0, which if it had gone in could have quickly changed the way Arsenal were playing, and could have made it a contest.

Obviously great performances from Eto'o, Shirley, Oscar, Dave et al.

Yep! Great save and the game could have very well gone in the opposite direction without it.

My vote went to the best big game keeper on the planet.

Winning 6-0 though and Azpilicueta getting motm just shows how good he is. He's the best fullback in the Prem.

Well to beat the arswipes 6-0 there has to be several exceptional performances. Whether it be matic galloping like a derby winner in midfield to the german sniper up front to a back four who where on the cigars and the little gem who is hazzard. My motm is hazzard took the piss out of arsenal all afternoon thank f**k he plays for us the man is a star.

I agree our midfield pivot looked good. But we shouldn't judge too quickly.

Arsenals midfield didn't show up, now of course that's partially because of our duo, but I want to see them being tested against a stronger opposition midfield.

 

Not taking anything away from out players though, they all played outstanding.

Rambo usually plays, it took a suspension for Mourinho to play the Matic - Luiz pivot. There must be a reason for that.

I gave it to Matic. Once again he looks remarkably comfortable in an area we have struggled to properly fill ever since Makalele retired.  Good to see Luiz return from injury as well. I still feel here is a long term role for him as a holding midfielder and hope to see him paired with Matic more often.  Today's performance, if maintained,  may well see Ramires and, to a lesser extent, Willian struggle to reclaim their regular first team spots.

It's good that we now actually have options in the middle of the pitch. Jose now has a decision to make as 2 of our best displays this season were with Luiz and matic in the middle.

Matic absolutely overpowered us in the middle of the park, a bit like Yaya Toure did to us at the Etihad when we lost 6-3. We were totally bossed.
