Loads to play for, even if we dont win the league, with the amount of injuries and loomung suspensions, there's a chance to steak a claim for a potential champions league final spot.

B team guys, could be a long match

I think Mikel, Lamps and Matic all starting points to that.

Mikel, Matic and lamps were a given to start regardless as they were suspended for Atletico

I'm surprised to be honest, Jose rarely if ever has rested so many players for such a big game.

It's not a weak team, though. And it makes sense to play the players who are unavailable for the match on Wednesday. Lampard, Salah, Matic, Mikel... All unavailable in the second leg.

That's the team I expected apart from Kalas for Cahill. The lack of pace is quite concerning.

Not going to be great viewing in my opinion.

Luiz was never going to be involved today, he is utterly crucial for Wednesday bearing in mind our midfield options. Really surprised not to see Oscar out there though.

Willian is on the bench. If we are level with half hour left I reckon he'll throw him in to add some pace.
