Liverpool v Chelsea (PL) 27/04/14 KO 14:05 BST

It would be very obsessive but I'd love for every single ground to have a banner along the lines of 'Liverpool FC: Offended by everything. Ashamed of nothing' or 'Liverpool FC: Always the victims, never their fault' as suggested in the Palace forum. It seems only the media are blind to their actions, its about time the fans, who are the ones who actually attend the match, see them for what they really are.

It's quite sad just how obsessed I am with that scummy club.

Those who encountered violence at Anfield might be interested to read this thread, from a Palace forum ..

They confirm what a Palace-supporting friend of mine told me. The Scouse fans were their usual lovable selves, rushing the turnstiles and climbing over walls trying to get in.

That's what makes the 'neutral's choice' media line so absurd (and shows the journos who were peddling it to be completely out of touch with ordinary fans). In fact they're pretty widely disliked by fans up and down the country. Not for nothing did the entire internet explode with laughter after Stevie's stumble, and then again after their bottle job against Palace.

Enjoyed that. Anyone on here contribute to it?

I wondered that.

Oh and by the way, welcome back Davey - it's been too long.  I've missed your ability to know what's going on in my jumbled brain and post exactly what I think without any effort on my part.  And I will never forget that it was you, in that oh so bleak time in THAT era, when you first shone a light on the hope of a certain someone's return.  Not that I ever believed it was possible for a moment at the time.

Reading the above stories lets you know why possibly the best fans in the world are really just pure LIVERSCUM.....They must remember , they did all their premiereship winning celebrations B4 the chelsea match....So they did have SOME fun....LAUGH OUT BLOODY LOUDLY

I was at shamfield, directly behind the goals and right beside the scousers to the left! Man, what a day! i wore Chelsea top and proudly displayed it on the bus all the way into the city centre. Just after it started towards the city, a scouser suddenly threw a stone at the bus window, probably saw my blue jersey, it just bounced off the window but it was hilarious to see all the angry disappointed faces!  Next day at the airport I had pre booked a priority queue with ryanair and had a great laugh just strolling past all the waiting Liverpool fans waiting to board the plane behind me, a Liverpool fan that works with me even shouted out at me, calling me the special one...brilliant!!

apparently a lot of them are none too pleased with the signing of their hometown boy Ricki Lambert who obviously isnt seen to be good enough in their blinkered eyes to wear their beloved Liverpool jersey...a lot of distasteful comments about him by all accounts, if this is the way they treat one of their own is it any wonder they are loathed by many opposing fans!
