August 28, 201411 yr According to Marca, Real Madrid have not ruled out the possibility of making a move for Arturo Vidal Lol That would be the icing on the cake for United's bad summer.
August 28, 201411 yr True, he isn't the biggest problem, but i am sick of seeing him when he never actually plays any football. Even when he plays for England it is either in friendlies or the last 15 minutes of qualifier. Nathan Dyer has been decent for Swansea for years now, he is far better than Milner and can make a difference when bringing him off the bench. I have no doubt that if Dyer was the City player and Milner was the Swansea player then Milner wouldn't be anywhere near this England team. I would be interested to get Swansea fans honest opinions on Dyer. I've often thought he looked good and in the past have put him in my fantasy football team only to see him do f**k-all for a couple of months! He looks like yet another example of a player who on his day is brilliant, but that day doesn't come around often enough. And you know England will always choose reliable over the possibly exceptional so we will always go for a Milner over Dyer, or a Carlton Palmer over a Hoddle or Le Tissier etc etc.......
August 28, 201411 yr According to Marca, Real Madrid have not ruled out the possibility of making a move for Arturo Vidal Lol That would be the icing on the cake for United's bad summer. Unbelievable how real madrid can afford all these players.
August 28, 201411 yr Crystal Palace have signed Wilfried Zaha on a season-long loan. Top signing that.
August 28, 201411 yr You can beat them, they are very overrated for me, I would rather them than Barcelona or Real Madrid.
August 28, 201411 yr Hodgeson for the love of god please just DROP Welbeck,,,,, ughhhhhh. Welbeck plays well for England though. He's hardly the main problem.
August 28, 201411 yr Chelsea should win their group, easily. Not far to travel, just an excellent group.
August 28, 201411 yr You can beat them, they are very overrated for me, I would rather them than Barcelona or Real Madrid. I think Guardiola has taken them backwards. When they won the Champions League 2 years ago they were brilliant, especially when they thrashed Barcelona. Since Guardiola has taken charge he has changed their style, the tiki takka style isn't as effective for Bayern as it was with Barcelona.
August 28, 201411 yr Welbeck plays well for England though. He's hardly the main problem. Nobody plays well for England
August 28, 201411 yr Welbeck plays well for England though. He's hardly the main problem. I disagree He offers absolutely nothing but pressure, that's literally all he does. Whenever he gets the ball he loses it or trips over it with his rubbish skill moves. Dreadful player and we would do with someone at least a tad more creative or flair, we have a lot of hard workers as it is. edit: Sorry about that, I have changed my first line, it looks like I was coming at you a bit hostile, I can assure you that it wasn't my intention. August 28, 201411 yr Welbeck plays well for England though. He's hardly the main problem. When has he played well for england, I can't rember a single game where he was anything more thank ok.
August 28, 201411 yr That will teach you. Always best to greet bad news after it happens, not before.
August 28, 201411 yr Crystal Palace have signed Wilfried Zaha on a season-long loan. Top signing that. Not sure if you added this tidbit, but looks like Warnock will be their gaffer. I can hear the chant already....are you qpha in disguise?
August 28, 201411 yr Maribor beat Celtic didn't they? We could have had them had they made the groups in an alternate reality.
August 28, 201411 yr Welbeck plays well for England though. He's hardly the main problem. I've always thought that. The strange thing about Welbeck though is that I couldn't tell you what his best position is or where he's most effective. It just seems that when he plays for England he makes things happen.
August 28, 201411 yr Unbelievable how real madrid can afford all these players. Aren't they heavily government funded, even the Spanish economy is still screwed up, or was that just a myth.
August 28, 201411 yr I don't believe Real are government funded. However, 'Royal' Madrid are the poster piece of the Spanish royal family. As a result, they aren't allowed to fail.
August 29, 201411 yr After being destroyed by Man City, Liverpool think they're going to give Real Madrid "the hardest game of their life". The delusion continues.
August 29, 201411 yr Yes, the delusion of Liverpool is on. On Talksports radio all those asses are thinking Liverpool is going by Real. Lol.
