Carragher is a scouser he is the lowest form of life on the planet there is human excrement eating ameoba yet unknown to mankind which have more intelligens than thee afore mentioned.....

carragher such a sportsman - I remember when Frankie was lining up to take a penalty at Anfield and the great Carra was shouting in Franks ears to miss it like a 13 year old schoolboy

F**king hell, Carragher goes further down in my estimation by the week.

Krul patted Defoe on the head in the tunnel to say well done and Carragher is crucifying him, making a song and dance about a nothing incident.

It amazes me that pundits talk about these things more than they do the football.

Carragher mightve went overboard with it, but i agree with the general sentiment. I dont think opposing players should be pals to each other during the game

City players mouthing off again

They really should learn to just play their games and plug away instead of talking about us dropping points. They also have the United/Arsenal resurgence to contend with.

Was just about to link this.

Navas of all people. Utter garbage of a player.

Desperation and hope more than anything.

There's nothing to suggest City can or will go the remainder of the season without dropping points themselves.

They're just wishing we'll somehow lose three games up to the end of the season... Seeing as we have only lost twice so far all season they can carry on dreaming.

Literally what he said in the second paragraph.

It's a nothing article.

He's still talking the talk though and saying that we will drop points, just seems every week theres a City player saying something. It's like shut your mouth and get on with it.

I keep reading about this 'magic number of points' needed for Chelsea to win the league, does anyone know what Liverpool's was last season? Was it down to like 5 or something? Just curious to know because of how a team can still screw up regardless of how close they are.

Cheers kid, great breakdown - appreciated.

So although the ratio/percentage was a higher than ours (i.e. we can "afford" to lose") - they were bloody close, just under half what we needed points wise.

Ah well, sh*t happens.

So, what do we all think, any chance of Palace knicking any points from City?

If it happens, suddenly we need to get 15 pts from our last 8 games.

Right now we need 16.

Who? The Spanish Shawn Wright-Phillips? Let them talk while we figure what parade route to take through London.

The Arsenal game is key for us I think, basically we have to avoid defeat in that one and I reckon we're sitting pretty.

For City the Manchester derby is a must win for them which is a huge ask.

So basically City has to win out & our magic number is 16. I was liking our odds, then I saw our schedule. Still have some solid sides to play. Fortunately most are at the Bridge. This gooner match will be massive. le voyeur would love to crash our title hopes. Remember le voyeur has never, ever beaten Jose. He will pull out all of the stops. I will gladly take a bore 0-0 draw from that match.

I see Blackpool have been relegated, didn't they start the season with only 8 first team players or something?

Yeah and no goalkeepers LOL.

Far sight from the 2010-11 Premier League club. Same could be said of Wigan too.

Shows how difficult it is to get back up, the three relegated could be Blackpool, Fulham & Wigan- all PL sides not that long ago. Of course I hope one of the latter two survives and Millwall go down instead.
