reason why Newcastle match was delayed is because their big screen TV monitor had come loose and could potentially fall on top of the crowd as they are having windy conditions up North and the Big screen TV weights tonnes

Cissies.

This is crap. Our (Spurs') season is looking increasingly like last season. We are stalled and defensively inept. Gutted.

Glad you chaps keep doing well.

I think Pochetino will end up making some big decisions in January

Just watched the highlights, must be so frustrating. Spurs were right there for most of the match, that first goal should have been called back and if only Sodaldo wasn't so inept.

Don't be so down on your boys Spud, Other than a killer winning mentality which Sherwood alluded to was missing at WHL, I think this current Spurs side is capable of getting the top 4. You have a good, tactically astute manager, Your main rivals for the top 4 are more inconsistent than yourselves, For 60 minutes you gave as good as you got today, I must admit you need a proper striker in January, It doesn't have to be a Costa, Suarez or Aguero type, Just someone who isn't flaky like Adebayor and has got more about him than Soldado, A Christian Benteke, Fernando Llorente, Stephen El Shaarawy type, Someone who has a good reputation but comes in the £20 million to £25 million bracket. The other thing I've noticed is does any team shoot itself in the foot defensively more than Spurs? How Kaboul is the captain is beyond me.

^ Good points above. I agree Kinkladze that we need a reliable but not necessarily 'marque' striker. The lack of a consistent goal-scorer, allied to a defence that appears poorly organised and coached, is killing us. It's frustrating in a year when the top four seems so open, with all of the 'usual suspect' teams for fourth place being flaky.

I'm not sure about the terms of the Torres loan, but we'd accept £25m from you for him!

That must be horrible that, you really have had some tonkings over the years by the big teams. I remember when we lost 5-3 to Arsenal and I was absolutely gutted, I don't think I've ever been so embarrassed before, it was a nightmare going to college the next day.

I bet you would!! :-)

Mind you, he'd be hard put to be worse than Soldado...

That's the situation - we meet 'big' teams and you do wonder whether we'll get hammered. :-(

It could be worse though, considering Sunderland's result.

8 now, Jesus Sunderland are shocking.

Truly shocking wait until you see the goals they conceded,  2 OG's and 3 howlers by their keeper, twice he had the ball in his hands and somehow it still found the net and a pass straight to a Saints player while he was 15 yards out of goal. Gus looked like he was going to strangle someone.

Sunderland fans were leaving after it was 4-0. Feel bad for the ones that made the journey down south and left early, turn on the radio in the car or check their smart phone and find out they ended up losing 8-0!

They did something similar to us last year also, Their fans are so embarrassing, Bunch of wannabe Italian ultras Lol

Palace fans are just a bunch of classless pricks. Look at them down in that corner where security is always needed to hold them back just incase they go too far. I thought clubs were against abuse being shouted at players ? this club seem to let them get away with it.

I've just watched the So'ton highlights.

At risk of sounding like Alan Hansen, that is some of the worst defending I've ever seen from Sunderland.
