Following Our Nearest and Dearest Rivals, 2014-15

At least our captain eventually got his hands on the Champions League unlike Slippy G who will never get anywhere near to the Premier League again.

Again

?

Slippery Steve has won as many premier league medals as all of us. Zero!

Personally I think kompany is world class, not better than Terry though.

I also agree cahill isn't at either of their level yet, and playing with Terry makes cahill look better than he is.

However cahill is improving all the time and he think he still has another gear. Last season he was immense for us.

Andros Townsend, Aaron Lennon, Roberto Soldado, Michael Dawson, Benoit Assou-Ekotto, Kyle Naughton, Vlad Chiriches, Sandro, Etienne Capoue, Nacer Chadli and Moussa Dembele are apparently all available, presumably at a somewhat lowered price.

Considering our paucity of strikers, any takers for Soldado? Dembele is probably the only other player I might be interested in.

As a slightly more unbiased City fan, I'd like to divert the convo from the Kompany/JT debate into a what are we expecting of Spurs this year debate, Them and Everton have gone so under the radar that no one has even mentioned them getting a top 4 position, It's either United, Arsenal or Liverpool along with the two big boys. I personally feel Everton will have a bad year, Signing Beyonce and also the headaches of the Europa League will find them out, Spurs on the other hand i'm not sure what to expect, They have a squad the pundits were labeling as title contenders at the start of last year, They have a manager who doesn't mumble in interviews or throw his gilet at his seat, I'd love it if Spurs pipped the rags to 4th or even funnier would be if they pipped Arsenal in the first year Arsenal go out and spend huge.  :laugh2:

People say Cahill isn't world class, and i agree, but he is fringe world class right now. If he was at any other club, i don't think he would have improved as much as he has with us. Also, at the world cup, he was one the main reason why England didn't get totally shown up. He made some crucial interceptions at times and should have got more praise than Gerrard did. I seriously wouldn't take any other central defender in the world over Cahill right now. Hell, i wouldn't even swap Ivanovic in the central role for anyone else either.

Sounds like it will just be Eriksen left passing it to himself.

To be honest Skyblue, I don't mind other fans opinions but lately all you have been doing since last season finished is bragging about how City are this and City are that. And this is how our club is the best in the world and we just focus on playing attractive football, I mean really what is the point in that? You have to come here to tell us how great City are?

I don't get that also, The fact that i'm on shed end is because i wanted to get away from all the bluemoon drivel of how City are going to takeover world football within the next 10 years and how we're going to land Guardiola in 2 years time and he's going to lure Messi to come etc etc. I can't stand that stuff, I'm a City fan used to seeing my team get tonked by Arsenal, Chelsea and the rags, I'm still getting over the Aguero goal against QPR, Who gives a toss about taking over world football, That's so petty and saturates your genuine love for football and the club.

I haven't been on bluemoon for a while, I signed up for redcafe but whilst they welcomed me, Something didn't feel right about posting on a reds forum, I'd rather have a threesome with an Italian fella named Guiseppe and a Brazilian fat fella named Jorge than go on rawk, I haven't really thought about signing up for any other club forum. The shed end holds a really good balance, I don't feel guilty posting here due to no bitterness between the clubs as of yet, The other thing i've noticed is 95 % of posters on here are really decent, well spoken lads, Who support Chelsea, Hate Liverpool and just want to discuss football. You can't come on here trying to force Chelsea fans to believe players of different clubs should be held in the high standards you hold them, Liverpool fans think Gerrard is a legend, I completely disagree, I don't need youtube videos to convert me because it wont happen.

Pulis leaves palace apparently!

There is a lot of heat on Twitter about this, nothing official yet, but doesn't look good for Palace fans, he was a shot in the arm for them last season.

Apparently wants more money for transfers, in which case Palace are right to be cautious. His track record isn't exactly great for him to be making such claims.

His recent with history with Palace does though, he did fantastically well and was a shout for manager of the year.

I mean transfer wise, not performance wise. I wouldn't trust Pulius with a large sum of money, he signed Pacalios for like £7m-8m and almost always signs players from the EPL too so he hardly ever gets value for money.

Hes also signed the likes of Wilkinson, Shawcross, Nzonzi, Begovic etc. Like most managers he has hits and misses, but he has made some excellent signings for Stoke.

Thank you. How did he miss the penalty? Slip...

So at least you should get of gerrard's back. After all, like you said, a slip is not a mistake. And that has just made me realise, chelsea fans have no room to laugh at stevies slip after terry's blunder. Terry's was literally touching distance, more so than gerrard's as we still had palace and newcastle left. Oh well he wanted to be captain, leader, legend and failed miserably when he fully well knew there were better takers. HAHAHAHA

Your funny.

But why are Palace not giving him the funds? They must have received £50/60 million in t.v. money alone last year, Surely £15/20 million should be available, If he leaves they are certainties to go down.
