Plenty of people coming out and chastising him for not saying 'yes massa' to the first deal.

No wonder he wants out.

I just question all this stuff about his attitude when those who work with him say he's a good kid who just loves playing football.

You've made a number of criticisms none of which carry water. Maybe some people need to have a look at why they view him the way they do and whether it has substance or not.

None of which carry water? Haha you're funny, the stuff I question has actually been reported but you ignore it because of course you know better as always ::clap2::

You brought up that he had a rest - how many minutes did he miss?

Oh and he went to a club. Next he'll be wearing hoodies and playing that hippity-hoppity music.

Yawn!!! Zzzzzzzzzz!

He asked for a break two times and both times he was caught clubbing, that's not resting partying til all hours.

Sterling was the best thing since sliced bread last year, the scousers couldn't praise him enough. Funny how he's sh*t and not as good as he thinks now he wants to leave such a "massive", "historic" club.

A break from football doesn't mean he takes on a monastic lifestyle. You have unrealistic expectations not just of footballers, not just of young men but I think it's fair to say of humans in general.

Anything else apart from going to a club whilst on a break from football (a break which led to him missing how many minutes?).

He obviously missed an entire match didn't he? .

Really must have been tired poor little lamb

It's OK though because you know everything don't you?

An international qualifier in Estonia.

How many Chelsea players played more minutes than this 'poor little lamb'. Do you think that young players should have rests to decompress from the rigours of playing football? Do you think burn out is a real issue for young professional sportsmen?

Personally I think you're blowing this completely out of proportion considering the impact he's had on the pitch over the last two seasons. Maybe you're confusing him with Ravel Morrison?

Did our players openly sa pay they needed a break because they were tired and then go out clubbing?

Have any of them done interviews using figures of money they were offered but saying it's not about the money?

Maybe you're been condensing cause you love arguing, nothing new there though is there? As I said yawn, getting boring.

How dare he be ever so ungrateful, of course he should want to emulate Stevie Silverless and not Trophies Terry.

No...no Chelsea player has been on a break from football and gone to a club/bar....especially not our skipper.

What's your objection here? Him giving an interview and stating that the figures (released by club sources) weren't the root of his issues? Is that it?

I don't 'love arguing' but if that's what you think then put me on ignore and don't respond. I'm simply disagreeing with this notion that he has attitude issues because he had a break yet still played more than 3000 league minutes for his club.

You have an issue with him going to a club. That's fine. But I'm pretty sure that most adults wouldn't consider that a warning sign....unless they live in a bubble.

Blue Daze rule number one twist what I say to win the argument ::clap2::

He had nor arson to state the figures and yet he did, clearly wants more money.

I have an issue with him saying he's too tired yet he can go clubbing til 3am yeah. He really must have been tired. Nothing wrong with asking for time off but use it to rest not to go out getting pissed with your mates til all hours.

bro he isn't tired. Just immature - how old is he? 21?

He said his quads felt tight. He was on a scheduled day off from Liverpool training. He was in church on Monday afternoon and he trained on Tuesday.

Does the fact that he had tight quads on didn't say he was 'too tired' change your view? Did you even know that? Seems strange because you've said he reported being 'too tired' a few times. Easy mistake to make I guess.

Did he goto the Club? if so that was some bs that his quads were tired

He is immature for sure yet BD won't agree

He did say it a few times and was 'rested'. Anyway might aswell forget it we won't gonna agree and you're gonna keep been condescending.

again most people think I am crazy & you know the saying two tears in a bucket, but Ayew>>>sterling

So a player with tight quads was rested and then went out when he had a scheduled day off, but still managed to get to church and made training.

And this is a character issue? We've had far worse trust me.  :laugh2:

I disagree that someone who has quads which feel too tight to play in an unimportant qualifier can't be fit enough to go to a club.

Unless it was a salsa club in which case the exertion could have done some damage.

Again conveniently ignores parts so resting quads is out clubbing til 3am hmm? Would also love to know where the quads story is even coming from, the words were too tired not tight quads.

He's shown attitude problems all over, even in the way he's carried himself on the pitch lately.

But go on laugh it off again.

Even if that were the case, which I really don't think it is, Ayew is 5 years older than Sterling.

Even if he shouldn't have gone out clubbing, Terry, lampard and Cole all have had similar incidents when they were young. Not really a yardstick for saying a player is a bad egg.

Don't think his attitude is particularly a problem, certainly nothing a manager like Mourinho couldn't handle, he's no balotelli.

Here's my take. You think it's wise to pass up a game in order to go out partying till 3 am? Sure, maybe it's rested your batteries a little....somehow, but really what it has done is shown that you lack hunger and ambition if not also integrity. I've never felt too tired to be grossly over paid to play a sport and then thought "ah, bless my tired legs, they need to go to the club till 3 am to recharge"

You're making in a week what most make in a year, if not double, and at 21 you are too tired to play a game at most three times a week. How will he keep up at 28? A professional athlete is not likely to gain more stamina after that age, the body is pretty much at peak for someone already in full time professional training.

I'll just say it's a delicous irony he is in the same team as Balotelli because he is looking at his future. Thinking his talent is enough to let him take it easy while other pros at the same age are putting in extra training. That's the path he is heading down except that, in my opinion , Balotelli had far more talent to take for granted.

Perhaps I'm wrong, perhaps I'm harsh, but I struggle to think of a pro player with a career to admire who needed such rests so early in their career. Nothing wrong with his body or he'd be missing out due to injury, it's all in his head and I for one wouldn't be willing to pay 160k or so a week to someone with that weak of a drive and that poor of a mentality.

You can pull out the vigor of a pro athlete but at his age I was delivering drywall for 70-80 hours a week, 6 days a week. I would of absolutely had a field day swapping that for a footballers grueling routine of a few hours hard work a day haha. Then again , I didn't have the stress of carrying huge bags of money home from work, fair play to Sterling.
