May 18, 201511 yr I think most of the season awards have a very "what have you done for me lately" factor in them. It's the reason people pick coutinho over Oscar when the reality is their seasons have basically played out in reverse. If our season had gone in reverse, with the big wins and flowing football coming at the end there'd be a lot more positive talk about us. End of the day we got the most important end of season award when we won the league
May 18, 201511 yr Back to Nigel Pearson - the bloke is an absolute c**t. I can't believe we've got to put up with at least another season of him. So up his own arse, it's unreal. Reminds me of the PE Teacher in school who enjoyed bullying the nervous kid.
May 18, 201511 yr Johnson to deny all accusations http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-tyne-32777071 What's confused me slightly is that the grooming charges are related to before and after he's alleged to have bunked up with her. So does that insinuate he was looking for future meet ups? Also "three counts of sexual activity with a child are alleged to have taken place on one night in January at two locations". So he's done something a bit naughty at the club and then taken her back somewhere and finished the job?
May 18, 201511 yr Carrick is our best player but is getting on now. Rooney has been average for years. I think that's cause he hasn't played in position as soon as you put him upfront this season he looked good again.
May 18, 201511 yr De Gea is now 1/12 to join Madrid, and 6/1 to stay at Utd this summer. Bye bye d**khead.
May 18, 201511 yr Anyone else hate this trend of teams wearing next seasons kit at the end of the current campaigns? I know it sounds petty but I just find it completely needless.
May 18, 201511 yr Anyone else hate this trend of teams wearing next seasons kit at the end of the current campaigns? I know it sounds petty but I just find it completely needless. Yep spot on but they see it as an early chance to promote it to increase sales. Adds more fuel to the fire that it's a business now.
May 18, 201511 yr Anyone else hate this trend of teams wearing next seasons kit at the end of the current campaigns? I know it sounds petty but I just find it completely needless. I hate it when teams do it. Don't think United have done it yet. I remember when Chelsea wore their new kit against us in Moscow 2008. Loads of teams do it now.
May 18, 201511 yr I hate it when teams do it. Don't think United have done it yet. I remember when Chelsea wore their new kit against us in Moscow 2008. Loads of teams do it now. See here's the thing, footballers (and fans) are a superstitious lot and the Moscow final, wearing the new shirt there was a lot said that the players weren't comfortable wearing the new kit. It's no excuse but to make players wear something new, in a major final was just ridiculous in my opinion. So then you go into the new campaign with the new kit "tainted". That's a bit of an extreme example granted but when teams are doing it on the last couple of games of the season it just makes it feel even more like they've given up on this year, they have nothing to play for, the results don't matter to them now and the club are just thinking about lining their pockets for the new season.
May 18, 201511 yr We normally wear our new kit for last home game. Not this year because of the sponsorship deal changing
May 18, 201511 yr Loved Khalfallah's reaction, trying not to laugh. I heard some laughs come from the podium
May 18, 201511 yr I thought I had heard it all about st stevie me but this really takes the biscuit. http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p02rnj8w Just as background information....BBC Radio4 is generally considered as a respected and serious station here in the Uk. Every morning they have a slot called " Thought for the Day ". During that slot a representative from whatever religion gives what in effect is a sermon. This mornings sermon was just plain weird to be honest.

This mornings sermon was just plain weird to be honest. They fill the City’s many parks at the weekends dreaming of filling his boots one day. Is that like "fill your boots!" - when they burgle his house?
May 18, 201511 yr De Gea is now 1/12 to join Madrid, and 6/1 to stay at Utd this summer. Bye bye d**khead. My Ajax supporting office room mate is terrified Van Gaal will go after goalie Cillissen, about the only class (sorry for using that word, Gem) Ajax player.

May 18, 201511 yr Chris Foy is going to retire at the end of the season, I won't be sad to see him hang up his whistle. http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/premier-league-referee-chris-foy-5719740

May 18, 201511 yr ^Let Arsenal have him. Just so he can be another flair player they don't need, and Wenger can say "next year is our year" for the gazillionth time
May 18, 201511 yr Raheem Sterling to tell Brenda he wants to leave Liverpool to join a bigger club! Before he refused to sign the new contract Liverpool supporters were acting as though he was the best thing since sliced bread, now that he's telling them he wants to leave they are acting like they don't care. At least they will still have future Ballon D'or winner Jordy Hendo Edited May 18, 201511 yr by londonblue
May 18, 201511 yr Who here would take Sterling? I think I would to be honest. My no.1 choice, if we get another AM, would be Griezmann, but Hazard - Willian - Sterling would be very good too. All 3 can play in all of the AM positions and would be able to interchange. Even if we don't get him we at least drive the price up for City or whoever ultimately do sign him.
May 18, 201511 yr not sure, he's a good player with tons of potential but I seem to remember him taking the P*ss out of us on twitter last year after Atletico knocked us out but I guess we have signed a few who had done similar
