May 20, 201511 yr Great scenes from the Sunderland fans. Travelling down for a midweek match, watching their team play a backs-to-the-wall game and coming away with the result they need. Not every success is marked with a trophy, sometimes it's just enough to have a chance in a few months to go against the best once more. Edited May 20, 201511 yr by Blue Daze
May 20, 201511 yr Man United fans on here have your team do the right thing. Your chance if 3rd place has gone. Lay down for Hull.

For them it's just enough to wake up in the morning happy that they didn't die in their sleep. No ambition, no hope. Advocaat will be sacked before November. They'll replace him with Stuart Hall so he can get the best out of Adam Johnson.
May 20, 201511 yr Spot on that, it's something us Chelsea fans seem to have forgotten but those macams will feel like they've won the world cup tonight. Tomorrow will be so much easier too. That's a long old journey back but they'll be loving it. Not been too impressed with Arsenal since the match against us. Come on Villa, do us all a favour and end the season properly.
May 20, 201511 yr Pleased for Sunderland. Not every club can be fighting for the top four, there are always going to be teams who perpetually struggle. Besides - they won't bother turning up on Sunday now and we can make up for this weeks dross :)
May 20, 201511 yr Boring boring Arsenal. No goals scored in their last 3 home games. Other teams have followed Mourinho's lead and adopted underhand anti-football tactics like not letting Arsenal score a goal. Has Wenger complained about it yet?
May 20, 201511 yr Other teams have followed Mourinho's lead and adopted underhand anti-football tactics like not letting Arsenal score a goal. Has Wenger complained about it yet? Yeah he moaned that Swansea set up defensively. Apparently it's the other teams obligation to allow Arsenal to score.
May 20, 201511 yr Raheem Sterling should not be criticised for "being ambitious and wanting to win trophies", according to former Blackburn striker Chris Sutton. The Liverpool forward, 20, is expected to tell manager Brendan Rodgers and chief executive Ian Ayre on Friday that he wants to leave Anfield this summer. Several former Reds players have since criticised Sterling and his agent. "I don't think it's about money," said Sutton, who feels Sterling "only wants to go to a big club". - Priceless stuff on this I'm sure everyone at Liverpool, fans and club, are squirming with this type of quote.
May 21, 201511 yr Rumor has it that Benitez is about to be appointed Real Madrid manager. They have sacked Ancelotti, Mourinho, Del Bosque, Capello..............why do they think Benitez will work ? I suppose they are done with good managers so they are going to try something new and go with the average ones. They have had the best managers around, it's about time they realised that it's not the managers that is the problem. Edited May 21, 201511 yr by Scott Harris
May 21, 201511 yr Rumor has it that Benitez is about to be appointed Real Madrid manager. Oh this should be fun to watch
May 21, 201511 yr Praying that Newcastle go down now. Hull have got nothing up front, can't see them beating United.
May 21, 201511 yr I like Steve Bruce and I dont mind Hull really, would much rather see Newcastle go.
May 21, 201511 yr Rumor has it that Benitez is about to be appointed Real Madrid manager. If the rumor turns out to be true, we can congratulate Barcelona on winning the 2016 La Liga title.
May 21, 201511 yr Funnily enough though Benitez has a habit of winning a trophy in his first season everywhere he goes. I think Real will see him as a good choice for the Champions League.
May 21, 201511 yr Another candidate has dropped out of the election to be the next President of FIFA. Leaves only two to rival Blatter. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/32826308
